Hello all. It looks as though I joined CC over a year ago, but never posted an introduction! I guess I also forgot about this site, until today. I belong to the LCMS church, which I joined only 10 years ago. After 50+ years I finally found a church where I felt a sense of belonging. I spent most of my life bouncing between ELCA, and Roman Catholic (due to having a Lutheran mother and Catholic father), but I can't say I ever Heard the Word until I joined my current church. While the people in my congregation are all very friendly with me, I have no friendships outside of the church - I think because I'm not native to the state I'm living in, and therefore not a lifetime member of the community as a whole.
I'd love to find some people to talk to about religion, and also secular topics.

There are plenty of threads in the Bible Discussion Forum discussing religion and secular topics. Feel free to create your own thread on any topic that you chose. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.
