What are you watching 😏

I like the atmosphere of old movies. I used to get off work late (usually 3am) and watch Bela Lugosi movies from the 30s and 40s. At the time I lived near a one dollar shop (not Dollar Tree) and they usually had Lugosi movies and other black & white movies.
I haven't been to the movies in years, but if there was a theater near me that played old movies on the big screen I'd probably be there more often.

Hey did you notice in Oscar the father in the front was Kirk Douglas?
and when snaps said to his daughter (you have brought shame onto this family ) immediately after he points his finger and says in Italian innocent

It's funny mention you that, as I didn't notice Kirk Douglas until after I watched the movie and went to look at the cast and seen that he was in the movie. "What? Where?" Then I had to go back and look lol

I’ve binge watched all four seasons of the chosen. I’m ready for season five… so good!

I've bought a fair number of 4K movies over the past few months, and the last one I watched was The Matrix Revolutions. I've ordered a 4K set of the first six Mission: Impossible films, and I'm looking forward to seeing them all in the best video quality available.

I also have entered into the habit of watching movie reactions on YouTube. Its often both funny and refreshing, to see films I grew up with through the eyes of those who haven't had the same experience.

I watched this good movie called "How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies". It has a pretty good lesson on not letting money be our motivation to the things we do and also to honor our elders.

I'm watching a series on History Chanel called "The Food the built America".
A lot of these early inventors which include MacDonalds were obsessed with the little details and the uniformity which is what people crave. They don't like change.

Don't get me started on McDonald's.

Do you know what first got Ray Kroc's attention about McDonald's? Ray was a mixmaster shake machine salesman and they placed an order for six of them. Six shake machines in one little diner. McDonald's wanted to make sure nobody had to wait for anything, to the extent that they required the ability to make six shakes at once.

Now every McDonald's has one shake machine. And it takes 2 hours to clean it, so if it is being cleaned when you want a shake, tough. The irony just kills me. Ray would be ticked.
