Anyone here ride a motorcycle?

I have ridden for the past 15-16 years, daily ride back and forth to work, except when it was raining, or below about 36 deg F or so.
Started out on a Kawasaki KLR 650 for about 3 yrs, then traded for a Suzuki V-Strom 650 for about 3 years, then traded for a Harley Road King for about 3 or so years, then traded it for a new Harley Road Glide Ultra.... rode it for 6 yrs plus, then recently had to trade it in.... I needed a pickup, and couldn't afford both... so it had to go.
Plus, riding that many years in the DFW metroplex had me thinking I'd probably pushed my luck (actually God's protection) far enough.
Got to go on one long trip over to N Carolina and places inbetween, and a number of shorter trips.... I really enjoy riding, but, at 70 yrs old, the wiser choice was to quit while I was ahead, I think.... this pic was on my long trip... riding the Tail of the Dragon in NC..... I was waving at the photogropher....

I don't know about 70 being too old. My wife's grandmother rode her dirt bike until her early 70s. She hit a root across the trail and broke her shoulder. She almost got a divorce when she found out her husband had sold her bike. He saved their marriage by buying her a new bike. She never returned to the trails, but she did ride it on the road a little after she recovered.

Oh, I know people older than that, still riding. I just know me... and I've begun having occasional bouts of vertigo, plus, my knees have gotten a little less reliable.... stopping a 980 pound bike from falling over at a stop light, if your foot slips on sand or gravel is almost "un-doable"..... absolutely un-doable if you have older, weaker knees.
I still might get a smaller, lighter bike for knocking around on, but I'm in no hurry at this point...
I used to work with a guy that had 3 motorcycles... a Ducati, a BMW, and something else. He did not own a car. Several times I saw him show up at work after a snowstorm... on one of the bikes. He was, at that time, in his mid 70's....
