Hello. I'm new on this site and decided to post here.

I enjoy being single. I also don't enjoy being single. Anyway, I'm not here to find a partner. I'm just here to grow and share and connect with some like-minded believers.

Just keep mingling in the Threads, that's how we get to know each other and make friends. Fyi, this is not a dating site per se, but marital connections have happened here, very successfully. Welcome to CC ValleyAnt, there are many cool people here.

Howdy and welcome to the Forum.

From what I have heard from my married friends, they enjoy being married, and they also don't enjoy being married. So I've decided to stick with what I've got until I have a really good reason to change to married.

By the way, did you hear about the trouble a couple weeks ago at the Halloween party? I went there dressed as a catalyst. They kicked me out for trying to start something. Oh well.

I came to this site in 204 with the same goals. Single. Lonely. Depressed.

Then I met my future wife who is also a member. We will be celebrating our 10th anniversary this month. Couldn't be happier.

Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

That's right. He got married at 1,800+ years old. Tourist is a regular old methusala around here.

The above may or may not be true, but the typo was to good to let pass by.

which 1 is more powerful? if being single is more attractive in your mind, soul, spirit & conscious, remain single, if the opposite, be that. but know that human nature is tugging on your soul, spirit, mind & conscious. it'll take time to figure this 1 out.

To be honest, I've seen a lot of men settle or most of the time make unwise marriage and relationship decisions. I've seen it so often that it seems like God designed men to make bad, unwise, or at the very least uninformed decisions in the relationship department. Of course, God didn't design it this way, but it is so rampant, so normalized, and so acceptable that I had to pull back and look for a second opinion.

I've also been chased by women a lot more than I like. (That "a lot more than I like" number is different for everyone. Five women a week might be too much for one man while five women a day isn't enough for another man.) I decided to only marry if God intentionally guides the process because I know God doesn't make bad, unwise, and uninformed decisions.

It happened to me in 1978 as I married a total loon who cheated on me, verbally, physically, emotionally abusive, refuse to cook, do laundry. In fact refused to do anything that might have benefited me. World class slob. By the grace of God the marriage ended in divorce in 1978. Thank you Jesus!
