I used to use ubuntu, back when I had an alienware laptop but it kept burning out, the more I was using unreal engine to learn how to build video games.

I’m good. I gave up that dream a while ago.

if I ever made a game, I have two games in mind that I designed. One, there is already a game just like it and the other, I’m pretty sure there is another game just like it.

I grew up with video games and it just seems like they completely ran out of innovating titles to create. The only game I’m possibly interested in playing is the Jesus game, cause you get to go around performing miracles and seeing what Israel was like back then.

that is unfortunately true. esp the mario and zelda games, they just get fancier, not better.
that is why I like emulation so much.

I love earthbound on snes, majoras mask is pretty cool, i want to play world of goo, but i can't emulate it, i like donkey knong country, the star wars chapter 1 racer, so cool, mario 64 is the all time best mario, my favorite zelda is breath of the wild, bc it holds memories, but link to the past is pretty cool, don't starve is cool, but i mostly play survivalists, because it is not horror, and is more efficient. for ports that are free with my system, there is a version of tetris that is decent, noce music, and a placement indicator. c-dogs sdl, a dogfight game, i'm sure it is rated m :) pretty violent, but in pixellated 2-d. but the enemies still leave blood smears. ur-quan masters, the worlds best game, it is free, so so so cool, and has incredible story.
i also play;lego star wars on gba, plants vs zombies on 6 fps on ds, (bad emulator) smash 64, pretty decent, much better than smash switch. and i am sure i missed some. :D

Those aren't classics. Those are new-fangled junk. :p

Well, I mean, except for ur-quan. That's a legit classic.

If you like survival, have you played outward? Nice mechanics, pretty good story but you have to dig for it, water and food meters, heat and cold meters, all the survival stuff.

I will give you one tip though, if you start that game. Speed is king. Get all the speed boosting gear and nothing can touch you. (And I don't mean the speedster skill tree. That is total junk. Just speed boosting gear.)

There are five different storylines, and you need to restart and rebuild your character and grind a lot each time you start a new one. I suggest getting all the stuff you need to make your character, then finding the save file and copying it to a backup folder somewhere else. Then do a character build and a storyline, then delete that save file and copy from backup, then repeat as needed.

you hear of the sequel, free stars: children of infinity?
I heard that it raised the kickstarter amount in 1 hour.
35 years after the original game.

hey, some are, most i emulate. i play on nintendo switch, and i play mostly fortnite (voice chat with friends) survivalists, totk, some dont starve, minecraft, if i can get it to not crash every few minutes, terraria (worlds best game) stardew valley, (and i have tried harvest moon, it is hard. too much like real farming. oof.) and other random games.

I will check out outward. sounds cool.
ever played uh. that tank battle game? i forget the name. i play a modern version called atomic tanks.

There have been many tank battle games. You will need to narrow it down a bit.

I play games that have a good story. I know nothing of most of the games you just mentioned.

I honestly can't. my friend would know. I play it under the name atomic tanks. mostly just a playing around game.

uhh. totk has a decent story, if it only wasn't nintendo switch exclusive.
the survivalists has a lot of lore fagments you can find.
fortnite tecnically has a story, but it is mostly just a side thought.
c-dogs sdl is like 2-d doom, and it has cool stories for each campaign.
it has one part in the story where your char. do something stupid, and you are like "what! how could he be that stupid? I wouldn't have done that. and then on the screen a message pops up "theres always that one guy" hilarious how it predicts your reaction.

Deus Ex had a lot of those.

Like at the end of the first level, if you shoot the friendly soldier who takes over for you, back at base your commanding officer asks if you have seen that guy. An investigation has been opened.

The programmers were like, "somebody is definitely going to try to shoot that guy. We should put a dialogue line in for that."

Earthbound is a true classic. I love that game.

I have it on my SNES mini.
