Alive to See the Day - Like A Roaring Lion

They sound wayyy secular but I keep creating, so I’m wondering where God is going with this…He gave me a vision to become a Christian Electronic music artist like 10 years ago. So this past year, I have been continuing to learn by taking action and creating more and more.

This isn’t an electronic music song but i did compose it with digital audio workspace. I think the older crowd here would appreciate this more.

This song i made yesterday is titled, ’they died at a rave’, because it reminds me of new years eve 2008 where i went to a rave to celebrate my birthday with my "friends" at the time. i partook in a lot of destructive behavior that night and i even witnessed people overdosing on drugs, being ran out of the rave on stretchers by EMT's. After seeing that, i could not help but only think about that for the rest of the night and every single rave i went to after that. Even though i thought it was all just fun and exciting, people were dying around me and there was nothing i could do about it. This song reminds me of that traumatic night. It was the first and only event that i got to see Deadmau5 perform. i like his music a lot, but because of that night, i don't think i would ever see him play live ever again. i thank Jesus for saving me from such dark times, and i pray that over time, that my music will become less and less secular and sound more like R3HAB's electronic music, with Christian lyrics but in my own style.
