Thank you Lynx for the constructive criticism. Before this coming to this website, I didn’t get any constructive criticism. Just a bunch of “that is awesome” or “keep at it”. Nothing that is supposed to develop me. Thanks for being real and just saying it how it is. Better to have wounds from a friend than kisses from an enemy.
One thing that may help is looking outside of the music you're trying to make, and find things you can utilize that aren't common.
For example I've heard a few death metal/extreme style bands have created songs with saxophone in it. I wasn't a fan of it, but many were. And respect for the experiment to go outside the genre norms.

Or you can look at a Christian rap group called Beautiful Eulogy and their album Instruments of Mercy. Their music is pretty original and when it came out seemed not to fit the current trend.

Oh, and if you have nooooo idea where to start in making your own sounds, there are, like, THOUSANDS of presets in big honking preset packs out there. Just google "Synth1 presets."
Found a free app version for iPad called Audio Kit Synth One. Apparently a bunch of volunteers came together and made a more graphically pleasing version of synth1 with a load of presets

i have never heard anything like that before. I did a number on my soul. The first rapper over rapping on the beats, yet it all working out, was so creative that I don’t even think some baby Christians can even handle that. It definitely showed me what only God can reveal to a follower who has either dedicated their life to Christ or rededicated and cleaned house. I can‘t tell if my mind is going to break after listening to some like that. It was truly not of this world.

im definitely going to check out their other stuff.

I think every true Christian has to hear this album, just so they know they aren’t alone. The lyrics are powerful and very hidden from the world. It is truly carving my mind. I don’t know how much of this I can take before I have to take break but I’m going to try to get through all of it tonight. I’m already tired from listening to 4-5 tracks. Pruning my brain.

I had to stop after song six, the album title track. What a treasure.
