Its right in our bibles- are we have to do it turn to God's Word.

Exo 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Isaiah 58:13
“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord
honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
14 Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Lev 23:3 ‘Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

How did Jesus keep?

Luke 4:16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. 17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah.

The same way the apostles kept:

Acts 15:21 For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

Acts 13:42 So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

Acts 16:13 And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there.

Acts 17:2 Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures,

Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.

Its what I love about God's Word- it really tells us everything we need to know.

Why we are told
Pro 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall [b]direct your paths.

And He does so through His Word. Best to let God's Word speak for Itself, no edits required, that just makes it our word and not God's Word. Only His Truth sanctifies us and all of His commandments are Truth Psa 119:151

Psa 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
Is this the extent of the requirements God made for the Sabbath?

There is more to keeping a commandment than mere outward observance. How does one keep the commandment to keep the Sabbath? Please include everything necessary to keep the commandment.
A living faith in the creator should more than take care of it.

[Jas 2:18, 24, 26 KJV] 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. ... 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. ... 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Acts 18:4
And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
Yes, the apostles observed every Sabbath just as Jesus commanded them Mat 28:18-20 along with the Gentiles- every Sabbath.

If anything. changed with God’s Sabbath day this would have been a perfect times for the apostles to correct the Gentiles when they begged for more gospel preaching the next Sabbath and tell them we now worship on day 1

Acts 13:42 So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

But did they do that? Of course not!

Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

The apostles were servants of Jesus, they would not have changed God’s times and laws we were warned about. They faithfully observed every Sabbath, because thats what a follower of Christ does, they follow Christ, not change what He commanded and go against His teachings- not a jot or tittle will pass from God’s law, that would be rebellion, not a Christ follower.

Is keeping holy the Sabbath a living faith?

That's vague. If I'm going to keep a Sabbath, I want to be sure keep it fully. So far, those who tell me to keep a 7th day Sabbath are unable to tell me what the commandment requires of me. How can you say you are keeping a commandment that you can't even share what the commandment requires?

Was Paul an apostle? Was he wrong to worship the first day of the week in Acts 20? Seems he was in town plenty long enough to be able to do so? He was Jewish also, right? Didn't he also say let no man judge you in respect to a holyday? Would the Sabbath qualify as a holiday?
Guess Paul didn't get the memo.

Is this the extent of the requirements God made for the Sabbath?
Sabbath day observances had burnt offerings which went along with them (Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3; Numbers 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13). So, no kindling a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath. (Exodus 35:3) Every man must remain in his place on the sabbath. (Exodus 16:29) No trading. (Amos 8:5) No marketing. (Nehemiah 10:31; 13:15,19)

*These regulations were commanded by God to Israel. (Exodus 35:1-3)

If keeping the sabbath day is still in effect today, then why don't sabbatarians seek to obey ALL that the LORD has commanded? How can someone keep a certain law when they only keep part of it? If the sabbath day laws were still in effect today, then according to Exodus 31:12-18; 35:1-3; and Numbers 15:32-36, anyone who profaned the sabbath was put to death and any person who does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from his people.

Now who is going to enforce that? The Jewish synagogue? The Seventh day Adventist church or perhaps the government? Since we do not live under a theocratic state as ancient Israel did under the old covenant of law, no sabbatarian today can live consistently under these Mosaic regulations.

There is no animal sacrifices in the Sabbath commandment Exo 20:8-11 the Sabbath started before sin at Creation Exo 20:11 Gen 2:1-3, no sacrifices needed everything was according to God’s perfect plan before sin and the fall of man. Because of sin, animals sacrifices were made daily according to what was written in the book of Moses which included sacrifices of animals on the Sabbath, because people sinned daily, but that all ended once Jesus came.

The sacrifices ended at the Cross Heb 9:10-15 Heb 10:1-22 but the Sabbath continued decades later....

See no sacrifices, kept the way Jesus kept

Luke 4:16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. 17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah.

No sacrifices this is decades after the Cross.

Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greek

I would be less worries about what God ended, verse what He did not end- His Ten Commandments- spoken by the voice of God divinely written by God’s own finger kept by Jesus and the apotles, Gods perfect law written by our Perfect Savior, who makes no mistakes.

Do you interpret "justified by works" in James 2:24 to mean accounted as righteous/saved by works?

James is not using the word "justified" in James 2:24 to mean "accounted as righteous" but is shown to be righteous. James is discussing the evidence of faith (says-claims to have faith but has no works/I will show you my faith by my works - James 2:14-18) and not the initial act of being accounted as righteous with God. (Romans 4:2-3)

I don't believe you care whether or not you keep the Sabbath.
You would be incorrect. I care about observing the rest pictured in the Sabbath. I find this fulfilled in Christ and am very grateful to God for what He in Christ has done for me.
In the early church there existed those known as Judaizers who followed the Apostle Paul around and tried to undo the grace of God by putting the yoke of the law around believers necks after they had been set free in Christ. To me, a coerced 7th day observance of the Sabbath is the same kind of yoke. If it is someone's preference, I respect that even though I don't believe they observe all the Sabbath requirements. But I have found rest in Christ and trust in His work for my peace with God. This is what the Sabbath points to. I already have all the Sabbath offers.

Ok prove it. Post one Sabbath observance in the NT that included animal sacrifices. I can post many verses without it, already posted that you haven’t refuted, otherwise you would have with scripture. was the blood of Christ not enough at the Cross? It was, yet the Sabbath continued just as Jesus said it would, God’s people keep God’s commandments Rev 14:12 His version, not mans.

Are you asserting that Jews stopped sacrificing animals as commanded on the Sabbath, following the resurrection of Jesus Christ?

We post verses showing animal sacrifice was commanded for Sabbath observance and you refuse to accept them. Such a hypocrite.

If you have a NT scripture that shows animal sacrifices were made on the Sabbath please share. Theres about 50+ references on the Sabbath in the NT. If you are saying it is a requirement despite it not being in the commandment Exo 20:8-11- then Jesus and the apostles sinned because they kept the Sabbath according to God’s commandment, keeping the seventh day Sabbath holy.going to church reading and preaching God’s Word, nothing about animal sacrifices.

Why would Christians sacrifice any animal after the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ? At least they understood what it meant. Sadly it seems you do not and insist we prove something there is no evidence for because Christians did not do such things so OF COURSE there is no record of it. DUH. But I bet Jews still did and you have refused to acknowledge that. Just pretend they never did it after Jesus died. Brilliant.

Then why did you bring animal sacrifices on the Sabbath?. I didn’t. Sacrifices ended, Sabbath did not per NT Such as Luke 4:16 Acts 18:3 Acts 13:42-44 etc etc
