The system and the so called science tells us that humans were hunter-gatherers before being farmers. Biblically I can see this is not so, Adam and Eve were farming from the get go.

Can someone show me any evidence of hunter-gatherers from the Bible? I know there are many primitive tribes in the earth today that do this, not denying that reality of course.

I just watched a video detailing the "worst time to be a human" and they gave some details on how life was for these humans, what they ate, how they lived in trees etc. And all im thinking is: "how on earth can these people know any of this? This is just a religious belief. There is 0 evidence of what they ate, 0 evidence of how long they lived. This is just absolute guess work" The Bible warns us about science falsely so called, and this is definitely it, its not repeatable of observable, its a religious belief pushed as science.

Anyone who disagrees is free to give me evidence to the contrary.
But mostly, I would like to know if the Bible mentions these hunter-gatherer tribes or peoples anywhere? Maybe somewhere in the books of Kings, Chronicles, who knows. I havent seen it, but I admit my knowledge of the OT is limited.

bible speaking , Genesis 10:8-10, essentially Nimrod was a mighty hunter who most probably had fellow hunters/gatherings and being from Babel probably set the ground work for many indigenous tribes today. (paganism)

Too true! They have done a lot of wool gathering to spin their yarns.

You can't argue from silence. Most of the Bible focuses on the Middle East. There is nothing about Europeans, Americans or Asians. God informs us of what we need to know.

When it comes to ancient history, science is way behind on its research. They can't even get dates correct. The Bible has nothing to say about hunter-gatherers as far as I know. God gave permission for His people to eat certain animals that were found in the wild, such as deer. But not as a lifestyle.

They weren't the first humans.

Genesis 2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
Genesis 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

Man existed since the 6th day but those people did not till the ground. Adam was the first farmer. As hunters the 6th day man had dominion over the fish of the sea but that is not said of Adam because the garden was land locked (not near the sea).

Aww they always forget about the pastoralists, though maybe that's a good thing considering that they killed the first pastoralist.

Genesis 4:2
2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

More seriously though, yea pretty much they're just making it up. What happened is they fell for and then ran with the lie of evolution and applied it to human social development. You perceive quite rightly that they are just basically guessing, and that it's more or less just a myth in their atheist godless religion and rewriting of history.

Gen 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
Gen 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

Gen 6:19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.
Gen 6:20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.

Gen 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
Gen 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Gen 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

I do not believe they were hunter gathers first for it appears animals did not fear people before the flood, and God did not want them to eat meat until after the flood which he gave them as food like He gave them plant food.

I believe God wanted them to be farmers and not eat meat and then after the flood He allowed them to eat meat.

Gen 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Gen 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

In the garden of Eden it was all plant life they ate and no animals, and when Adam was ousted from the garden the ground was cursed in which in sorrow they shall eat of it.

So it appears they started out as farmers.

It was after the flood that changed it to eating meat and they might not of thought of eating meat before the flood, and Noah started the change to eat meat given by God to do so if they wanted.

GN 2:16 indicates that A&E initially were gatherers, eating fruit and nuts they gathered from the trees in the garden.
GN 3:17-19 indicates that Adam became a farmer after being banished from the garden.
GN 3:21 indicates that God was the first to slay animals; some see the shed blood as foreshadowing Christ's atonement.
GN 4:2-4 indicates that Cain continued to farm, while Abel tended sheep and killed some in order to offer fat portions as an offering.
GN 4:11-17 indicates that Cain became a wanderer and thus presumably a gatherer, if not a hunter, until he settled in a "city".
GN 4:20 indicates that Jabal tended livestock, presumably to eat.
GN 9:2 indicates that God officially permits humans to kill and eat animals.
GN 10:8-9 indicates that Nimrod became a mighty hunter and warrior.
GN 12:10 indicates that farming was a lot easier in Egypt than in Canaan.

Thank you this confirms it for me. Very good. Where do you fit in the Israelite's dietary laws? Do you think they are still in force or no?

I know 1 Timothy 4:1-3 is often used to say its not so, but I have heard alternative interpretations to it as well, where it says they are 'sanctified by the word of God' and these people would say that certain foods are NOT sanctified by God's word, therefore not fit for consumption. Noah also seemed to know about clean and unclean animals: Gen 7:2 "Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female."

In the book of Revelation we see there are still 'unclean birds'.

On second thought, maybe I should make a separate topic about this.

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
1Ti 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
1Ti 4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

I believe we can eat any meat we want for every creature of God is good.

Which Jesus took the physical ordinances of Israel out of the way nailing them to His cross for they were contrary to us for they had no bearing on spiritual salvation.

Which let no person judge you concerning them by telling you to keep them which includes meats.

It says the physical ordinances was a shadow of things to come but the body is of Christ which they are then done away with.

The first covenant had physical laws, and ordinances, with blessings on earth, but the spiritual law was there, but no spiritual salvation.

Since it is a spiritual covenant with the new the physical laws do not apply so we can eat what meat we want for it is now clean for the Spirit works in our life more than in the old.

But it seems like a person can eat any meat they want if they have the Spirit for then it is sanctified, and they are part of the body of Christ where the physical ordinance of meats is gone, but would be unclean to the world for they have no such power.

Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

2Co 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

Satan was kicked out of the third heaven, but has access to the first and second heaven.

This war has not happened yet which Satan gets kicked out of the first and second heaven, and is no longer the prince of the power of the air and appears as the antichrist to go against the truth, and the earth becomes the holding cell of the devils.

Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

The Bible says Babylon will never have physical dominion again so this is her in spirit which she represents human religion, the occult, and the kingdom of man which is what the beast kingdom is about.

All wicked angels, and humans will be confined to the earth so when it says unclean bird it is not referring to a bird but a label for their wicked ways for it also says hateful bird.

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

The earth will be done away with all the wicked angels and people.

Seriously?

4These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

6But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

(Adam and Eve)

8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. (Adam)

Verse 15:

15And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden todress it and to keep it.

Genesis 2:15 describes God's intentional design in placing Adam in the garden of Eden, emphasizing the divine intention for balanced labor and stewardship over creation. The passage highlights that work is inherent to humanity's purpose, even in paradise12. The Hebrew word translated as "tend" or "cultivate" means "to work at"2. God made the garden Adam's permanent and settled dwelling, where he was to dress it and keep it.

Gill said:

to dress it, and to keep it so that it seems man was not to live an idle life, in a state of innocence; but this could not be attended with toil and labour, with fatigue and trouble, with sorrow and sweat, as after his fall; but was rather for his recreation and pleasure; though what by nature was left to be improved by art, and what there was for Adam to do, is not easy to say: at present there needed no ploughing, nor sowing, nor planting, nor watering, since God had made every tree pleasant to the sight, good for food, to grow out of it;

Scripture is clear:

1 Corinthians, Chapter 15:

45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

The system and the so called science tells us that humans were hunter-gatherers before being farmers. Biblically I can see this is not so, Adam and Eve were farming from the get go.
From the fall, kicked out of the Garden of Eden, to till the ground for themselves, because of "Unbelief" to see for themselves how it was all made pure, by Father and Son as One who Won for us at that cross in his resurrection. for us to believe God or not, a personal decision
Kicked out man became, hunters-gatherers. Tilling the ground to be God and are not the God the Father of the risen Son for us the people.
Hunters-gatherers did as you state, begins, when kicked out to see for oneself, we do, at least me needs God, to stand in trust to God, no matter what and see new in this love God does just love us all.
I need God, God's grace is sufficient for me, I need God who knows, sees, all and lets us choose, never by force as I know I had done or manipulating others to get their way, I see it is not good for me anymore, therefore I let it be and listen for what to do in trust to the love given me for all from Father by risen Son, thank you

Do you also think Jesus was the last human being? "scripture is clear"
The only perfect human being born of woman, not man

Living Bible
Hebrews 7:11-14
(e) If the Jewish priests and their laws had been able to save us, why then did God need to send Christ as a priest with the rank of Melchizedek, instead of sending someone with the rank of Aaron—the same rank all other priests had?
And when God sends a new kind of priest, his law must be changed to permit it. As we all know, Christ did not belong to the priest-tribe of Levi, but came from the tribe of Judah, which had not been chosen for priesthood; Moses had never given them that work.

Authorized (King James) Version
Hebrews 7:11-12
If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law

The true Law is Love God's Love (1 Cor 13:4-7)

Peter's vision puts an end to dietary laws. Also, Acts 15:29 and Colossians 2:16.

The "unclean birds" are a symbol of evil spirits, not literal birds.

As soon as you put people under one law, such as dietary, you are on the slippery slope to putting people under all law. That is in direct contradiction to God's word. According to God's word we died to the Law and we live by a new principle, the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ. By all means choose foods to eat according to your conscience. You should not go against conscience at any time. But don't start pushing your ideas on others.

As said by God to Peter, call nothing unclean, that God has cleaned!
Paul in Romans 14 as well. I know and am convinced, nothing is unclean of itself
That tells me, it is what one, I you or others do with what is cleansed, that defiles God, by misusing this gift to love all and gain stuff for self even if harm someone else, which before born again hit me, clearly, is done for me by God to me, because of Son's done work for me and all others too, I saw to stop harming others ever on purpose ever again over any self gain, thanking God in thanksgiving and praise with all sin taken away as far as the east is from the west

I would agree on Acts 15:29 and Colossians 2:16, but I dont know why people keep saying Peter's vision has anything to do with food, just cause in the vision it says rise Peter kill and eat? If you look at the explanation of the vision its talking about calling no human unclean, the animals represent gentiles.

1 Corinthians 15:20 and 1 Corinthians 15:45 and 1 Corinthians 15:22 Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam a
life-giving spirit. In Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

Thank you for the inspiration! I hope you and yours are well .:)
