So, ignoring the fact that this was written under the old covenant of the law at Sinai...

If the law is perfect, then how could Jesus give us a new commandment?

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another."
Who said new commandments, deleted old ones? I know when we add new laws to the books, doesn't mean it deletes everything else, and no scripture say it does here, so lets not add what is not there.

When was love one another a "new" commandment? Do you think Jesus wasn't aware of what He commanded before? or was He just saying it a new way in hopes people would hear.

Lev 19:18 but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

“Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:8
Yes, love fulfills the law and love did not go undefined.

Do we fulfil His law by love when we break God's commandments or keep them? This really is just common sense, but its also scripture

1 John 2:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

“Saying His Sabbath is optional, when its a commandment, just like the commandment to only worship God, or not steal, or commit murder, there is no difference, so reducing what God said is reducing His Truth. The Ten Commandments were never called the Ten suggestions or are they multiple choice.”

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.

And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water.

And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.”

And to add where did the laws come from that make up the summary of one of the greatest commandment to love your neighbor as yourself ? God's perfect law converting the soul. Psa 19:7

Rom 13:9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” [a]“You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

No. You quoted where it said it was perfect. And then commented that meddling with something perfect creates problems.

So was the law perfect or not?

Jesus did not play with words or theater. Can you find, in scripture before Jesus said it, that we are to love one another as God loves us?

yeah if I was an ancient Israelite I’d be on the hook but I’m a Christian I follow the commands and teachings of Jesus the lord God Moses isn’t my mediation with God nor are ten rocks ministering death given to another people in another covenant

But I’m not an ancient Israelite beholden to Moses law I’m a Christian a disciple of Jesus and follower of the gospel it has nothing to do with keeping one day per week “ holy “ a

you never did answer my question however I notice “how do you keep the sabbath holy ? “

by Moses words or your own idea ?

They were cursed because they broke the covenant, God's law is not the curse, it is breaking His law and sinning that is the curse.

We are blessed when we keep His commandments and His remnant faithful does so until the end of time through faith and love of Jesus based on His strength and our cooperation.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

What commandments?
15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers (Breaking commandment #1 Exodus 20:3) and sexually immoral (breaking commandment #7 Exodus 20:14) and murderers (breaking commandment #6 Exodus 20:13) and idolaters (breaking commandment #2 Exodus 20:4-6), and whoever loves and practices a lie (breaking # 9 Exodus 20:16) when we break any of the commandments- there is no truth in us 1 John 2:4 all of God's commandments are Truth Psa 119:151

Guess we will all find out soon enough

The context is ....
2Co 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

The law reveals our sin and sin = death

But notice that Paul said it is written in our hearts. The law that was written in stone was not nailed to the cross it is written in the heart.
you focus on the letter and you miss Christ. how can you write letters on human hearts? Again you miss Christ in which the Law is written about.

Are you ever going to answer the one question I’ve asked you ? You seem convinced so how do you keep the sabbath holy ?
There are lots of ways and God's Word tells us. I wrote this before but here it is again

There are lots of ways of keeping the Sabbath day holy as shown in the bible.

This is how it was consistently kept all throughout scriptures

Exo 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.

The point of the Sabbath is to put all secular works aside and focus on Jesus. He says the Sabbath is a delight! How can it not be spending time with God on the day He set aside from Creation. Exo 20:11

Isa 58:13
If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

The Sabbath is a holy convocation i.e. holy gathering like in Chruch

Lev 23:3 ‘Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

Did this change in the New Testament?

Not by Jesus

Luke 4:16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. 17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah.

Did it change after the Cross?

Acts 13:42 So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.
Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.
Acts 15:21 21 For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.

Not by the apostle's

Does it change in the New Heaven and New Earth

Yes. Only because now instead of worshipping Christ in spirit, the saints will be in His physical presence, but the Sabbath remains just as what was promised.

Isa 66:23 “For as the new heavens and the new earth
Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the Lord,
“So shall your descendants and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord.

Christ blesses us when we keep the Sabbath and only He can reverse His blessing Num 23:20

Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

Without His blessing we are nothing

Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

God's covenant has always been made with Israel including the New Covenant, what comes with God's is God's law.
The Sabbath is God's law thus saith the Lord.

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Why everyone we are to follow in the scriptures kept God's Sabbath.
so now you admit the sabbath command was given to Israel in old testament NOT the whole world. ie Gentiles

Looking at the different arguments. There was not a command to worship every sabbath. God's appointed days to worship was in accordance with their feasts and other criteria. The sabbath the day of rest could be a day of worship if so chosen. The command from God was where to worship. Hence the words from the woman at the well to Christ that the Jews say the only place to worship was in Jerusalem. Which the Jews as followers of the law were keeping as commanded.

Deuteronomy 12:1-7 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth. 2Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: 3And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place. 4Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God. 5But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come: 6And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks: 7And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

Deuteronomy 12:11 Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:

The Synagogue was not the Temple and not a ordained place to worship. It was a place they would on the sabbath have a convocation which is a gathering for a reading. It is in our modern terms a bible study or in their case a reading of the law, studying it, and debating it.

The woman and her mite was at the temple. The money tables being overturned at the temple. When Christ healed he would tell some individual's to go offer according to the law at the temple. Paul as a Christian gave a offering at the temple. Paul was accused of the Jews of bringing gentiles into the temple. Sacrifice's, offerings, giving tithes, and etc these things were done at the temple not the synagogue.

It has not changed from then till today the only place we are allowed to worship God is where he puts his name just happens today he puts his name on us so that we are the temple so we can worship anywhere we are because we are the temple.

If the sabbath was indeed the day that God commanded to worship we should read in the bible that they were at the temple on that day since it was the only authorized place to worship pre the death of Christ.

Since we are the temple any day and anywhere we meet with fellow believers to worship is in accordance with the word of God, we can worship God any day anywhere by ourselves because again we are the authorized place that bears his name we are the temple.

I quoted from the New Covenant- I think Jesus cleared up any confusion or should have when He said the Sabbath was made for man Mark 2:27 and everyone Isa 56:6 since He is our Creator and created the Sabbath and would know who is was made for.

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”

There is no sacrifices in the Sabbath commandment

I think this is very clear.

11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

The seventh day which is Saturday is the Sabbath and we are commanded to keep the Sabbath day holy.

Did it change in the NC?

Luke 23: 56 Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.

It is impossible for heathen dogs to keep holy the Sabbath.

Matthew 7:6
Give not that which is holy to dogs; neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turning upon you, they tear you.

Amen

“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭4:21, 23-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Exo 20:11

Isa 58:13
If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;

Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

Without His blessing we are nothing

Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
what I’m asking is does everything Moses taught about the sabbath apply to keeping it or no ?

Because remember what the law said about removing or adding even a jot or tittle to Moses words ?

I quoted from the New Covenant- I think Jesus cleared up any confusion or should have when He said the Sabbath was made for man Mark 2:27 and everyone Isa 56:6 since He is our Creator and created the Sabbath and would know who is was made for.
But you fail to acknolwedge that he’s speaking to the children of Israel who the covenant through Moses was made with. It has never been made with any other people in the world.
