Those are not the people we are ridiculing here. We are ridiculing those who measure everyone else's Christianity by their own yardsticks and judge others as "real" Christians or "fake" Christians based on how they measure up.

Back in the day, every year we would get a whole crew in here berating everyone who celebrated any holiday, including Christmas and Easter.

Wow, looks like we're not going to have the yearly row over Christmas. That's unbelievable.

Yeah I was thinking just yesterday that we are lagging somewhat.

The Halloween Jack O'Lantern burned brightly this year. Lots of argument about Halloween. The Christmas tree lights are very dim though. We can't seem to get up enough Christmas spirit to argue about pagan tree worship and Satan Santa this time around.

Santa Clause is both real, Christian, and more awesome than some could even imagine.

I don't put up a Christmas tree. I'm not against it, I just don't put one up. I seen this tree online all decorated with all this lovely spider decor and now I want to start putting up a tree in this likeness of this one...

Isn't there a legend about spiders and a Christmas tree?

Doing a quick search: European folk tale about a spider that decorates a poor family's Christmas tree with webs of silver and gold.

That's beautiful.
Yes!! That's the one. I think I somehow saw it on Youtube last month. I had never heard that tale before. Otherwise I'd have thought a spider an odd thing to put on a tree, but I guess it's no more odd than a pickle!

Fireworks are definitely pagan.
They originated in China to begin with. Not good.

Isn't somebody, anybody, going to try to make something pagan out of dropping the ball at New Year?

Man, we are really getting lax around here these days.

down here in georgia, we have a peach drop instead of a ball.

a small town in south ga. has a possum drop. ( yes, this is real).

so, if no one can come up with anything for a ball drop, maybe someone can find a pagan origin to a peach and/or possum drop...

I bought a six pack of white claw and planned on drinking responsibly. I took about 4 sips and I had to give that can to a family member and give them the rest of them.

I'm already happy, so why would I want to be depressed?

I did come up with a few jokes though...

"I took a sip of white claw and woke up on a yacht in Ibiza"
"I took a sip of white claw and Elon Musk handed his companies over to me"
"I took a sip of white claw and President Trump endorsed me to be president for the 2028 election"

Look at the moon! Its right past conjunction making it the first of the Hebrew month, first of the modern lunar month, first of the month on the modern calendar and the 1rst of the Year.! And its the first new moon past the winter solstice.!!
