When invoking the 'Find all threads by' feature - on the third page of the search results, there is a button labeled 'View older results'. Upon clicking it - instead of seeing older results of threads I have created - a list of what appears to be posts I have made somewhere in the middle of the entire history of posts that I have made (in this case, posts in 2019) - which goes for [only] two pages before I get a 'No results found.' message.
(
@RoboOp @Oncefallen - would you please look into this and [see if you can] fix it? Thank you so very much! )
Everyone:
What do you see when you try to go further back into the list of threads you have created?
Hi Gary,
I'm not sure if it will help but...
When I try to go back to see any of my old threads, the system seems to list the numbers of pages at the bottom up to 10 max per time. When I click on the 10th page, it then gives me the "View Older Results" page, which gives me another 10 pages, and again, if I click on THAT 10th page, it will again allow me to view another 10 pages, and so forth.
HOWEVER, I think (and maybe you've noticed this too,) the system arranges your threads by the date of the LAST post someone made on it thread, NOT the date you originally posted your thread.
So if I have a thread from 2009 but someone dug it up and posted in Dec. 2024, I might find it rather quickly.
But if I have a thread from 2013 and the last time someone posted on it was in 2013, it's going to be WAY back in the bunch.
Therefore, if I'm looking for something specific in my old threads, I can't count on finding them chronically through the "Find All Thread By" search. I either have to use the keyword search to find it faster (but that seems to have its glitches, too,) or just keep on going through the listings, hoping I'll get lucky in finding what I'm looking for.
Sorry if you know all this already but just thought I'd mention it!
