My experience studying the Word began with the Oxford Study Bible, however I have read many versions in English, and several in various other languages.
Because I was exposed to quotes from the KJV much of my life, I tend to study using it much of the time.. It is most comfortable for me, though I know there are some errors in the translations, they really do not change the Gospel of our Savior at all.
After receiving the Holy Spirit, I came to know that if the Father wants someone to know any truth, He is perfectly able to give it so a housewife in a Betty Crocker Cookbook, or to a mechanic in a repair manual.. Our Father is not limited in any manner.
No, I am not KJV only for I have seen the truth in allversions of the Word I have sstudied,. Yet I am most comfortable with the KJV, probably due to my time here in this age.
