As a single guy I have lots of random stuff all over the house in random places. It is all there because either I found it convenient to stash it there or I was to indolent to put it away. Probably the former.

But as a single guy, all of it is exactly where I want it and if you move any of it I will be completely lost and never be able to find it. Leave it alone.

I think I will pass on dark places around my house. We raised three boys, a daughter, and three grand children, and had several teenagers around until a few years ago. I don't smell anything from the rooms, so I'll leave the contents for them to discover after we are gone.
