the reason israel was finally doomed is because they rejected the messiah and killed him this was the abomination that made them desolate

The sacrifice has ceased. Are there any sacrifices being done today in Israel? There used to be until around 1950 years ago. Why isn't what happened in 70AD in view?

They are desolate for alot of reasons. Read Isaiah 65:1-2.

anyone who rejects Jesus is left desolate until then you still have hope of life that’s the abomination that caused Israel’s desolation. What I mean to say is the ot speaks of a last act by Israel after all the worshipping of false gods throughout and rebellion and defiling of the covenant and temple ….. it was rejecting Jesus Christ the way the truth and the life and killing him that left them desolate , thier covenant religion in man made temples I’m talking about without a temple Judaism is a desolate religion and cannot be followed because the temple and priestly services are the center of it God used to fill the temple with his glory on atonement day ….there’s no need for that anymore the real atonement has been done . Jesus terrible death is the action that caused thier fall . But I understand what you’re saying they really rejected and rebelled all along from before Moses even had brought down the tablets …..they already broke the first commandment worshipped every diety under the sun over the generetions ect

According to what God laid out in the law the sacrifices have to be made in the way he said at the altars he commanded them to make in the temple he eventually made then build as a pattern of the real things in heaven
They were never told to invent thier own ways of sacrificing there are specific instructions and only the priests could do these things ….

ot just shows the desolation and disconnect of thoer religion they aren’t even following thier law anymore they hadn’t been way before Jesus was born actually but that’s another subject.

at here are detailed instructions the law has to be kept exactly according to those instructions and it cannot be because thier atonement’s and sacrifices had to be done by thoer oreiwts in thier man made temple


The simplest thing is of Jesus is the atonement for all sin of the world then why would anyone need to build a temple and sacrifice animal blood ever again to atone for sin ? It’s only when we dont accept the atonement God made for us that we are seeking to make atonement for ourselves
