Check this out! The guy being spoken of in this video is teaching one can live in willful disobedience and still be saved in direct opposition to what the Lord teaches in the New Testament. Especially the part where he is falsely claiming we can refuse to forgive others and still be saved.

Jesus said if we do not forgive others of their sins, WE shall not be forgiven.

It's amazing the amount of false doctrine being taught out there by those who are agents of darkness portraying themselves as Christians.

Here's the video:

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.

2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

One thing leads to another and the world gets worse in arrogance, and greediness because that is the direction they are going until they do not want to hear the truth of the Bible.

This scripture applies to the new age christianity that believes they will evolve to be spiritual, and greater, and there is no personal God.

That the New Age Christ will preach in to all the world that interprets the Bible and religions the same.

Teaching like this causes some people to not take being Christlike serious thinking they are alright allowing the flesh to take control and lead the person.

Which they might embrace the new age christianity thinking it is the right interpretation of Christianity.

But that teaching alone is dangerous but we do not want them spreading the new age the religion of the antichrist.

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

2Ti 3:4 lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Some people do not come to the truth which they love sin more than God.

Which they do not act Christlike for they will not let go of the flesh but they think they are alright.

So disobedience does affect our relationship with God.

It is not the tree of evil and evil but the tree of good and evil so if you sinned you could of chose not to sin so what is the excuse.

Even if they believe disobedience does not affect them why would they not do good because God wants them to do that.

But some people will say we cannot abstain from sin but they have a choice not to sin and if a person hates sin, and does not want sin and allows the Spirit to lead them then they will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

But they want to believe what they do so they can enjoy sin.

1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

1Co 13:5 thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

These people will hold on to sin so the blood of Christ cannot wash it away for God will not take away a sin they hold on to.

But we are in the flesh so if we choose to sin we should repent and move forward in the Spirit.

But those that deny the power thereof will hold on to sin and think they are alright.

They do not hate sin like they are supposed too.

God knows whether we are holding on to sin or not.

Here's the video:

Jesus saves us from our sin (Matthew 1:21) and it is by the Law of Moses that we have knowledge of what sin is (Romans 3:20), so Jesus graciously teaching us to experience being a doer of it is intrinsically the way that he is giving us his gift of saving us from not being a doer of it. The position that we are not obligated to obey the Law of Moses is the position that we have a license to sin and the position that we do not need salvation from sin.

I have no intention of watching a video made by a nut-job. Any scripture supporting OSAS does not promote having a license to sin.
I actually prefer the terms "preservation of the saints" (Psalm 37:28) and "eternal security of the believer" (Ephesians 1:13-14) over OSAS because of all the negative connections that get attached to it (a license to sin/license for immortality etc..) by those who strongly oppose it. Only a nut-job would embrace and support those negative connotations.

Straw man argument. Anyone who is born again does not want to sin. However, sin does not mean that we lose salvation. It means that we lose fellowship, not relationship, with God. That includes unforgiveness.

Being out of fellowship with God is horrible. Those with unforgiveness are in torment. But they can be restored to fellowship.

Living in consistent sin, absolutely makes you lose salvation.

If the wages of sin = death, and Hebrews says if you sin deliberately after knowing the truth there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.. well then...

But OSAS crowd makes them feel more comfortable to say they're going to heaven regardless of how disobedient they are.
My favorite section of verses.... I just love 1 John so much:
Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

Quite the opposite.
The sin problem was dealt with at the cross completely.

Then how do you account for all those verses? Do you just, ignore them? I'm not trying to sound rude, I'm just baffled that they can just be negated so easily.

No need to ignore.

Chapter 5:12-14: "For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

V1-3: "Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this we will do if God permits"

After this comes verse 4 in my quote: "For it is impossible..." (the "for" being a conclusion)

Connection here between elementary principles, the going on and on again about the foundation of repentance...... and then it goes on to confirm an elementary principle that I mentioned in my quote - the impossibility of being saved, unsaved, then saved again (impossible to be renewed again when already renewed) - this is elementary!!

So yes - eternal security is an elementary principle!!!

Hebrews 6:4-8

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, having fallen away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Christ's ONE sacrifice is sufficient to cleanse us of ALL unrighteousness. We are born of the spirit ONE time, not multiple times.

This scripture is showing how impossible it is to be saved, then unsaved, then saved again.... because that ONE sacrifice was sufficient to cleanse us the first time!!

So to suggest our salvation can be "undone" would be putting Christ to open shame, suggesting that His sacrifice was not sufficient!!!

So in other words, "crucifying him afresh" each time by suggesting that He was not able to save us completely the first time, that He must be crucified a second and third time.

It's impossible to renew them again (because we were already renewed) so how can it possibly happen again, because salvation happens ONE time.

It cannot happen a second time. Christ was crucified ONCE and it was sufficient.

This is confirming the security of the believer, not suggesting that salvation is undone in any way!

I think you're reading your conclusion into the passage rather than drawing it from the text.

Yes, Hebrews 6 begins by mentioning elementary teachings, but the list in verses 1–2 doesn't include eternal security. It includes repentance from dead works, faith toward God, baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. So the passage itself never identifies eternal security as one of those elementary principles.

Then it says, "For it is impossible..." and describes people who were once enlightened, tasted the heavenly gift, became partakers of the Holy Spirit, tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and have fallen away. The warning isn't, "It's impossible for this to happen." The warning is that if it happens, renewal to repentance is impossible.

Your interpretation changes the function of the warning. If genuine believers cannot fall away, then why warn them about the consequences of falling away?

Regarding your point about Christ's sacrifice, I agree that His sacrifice was offered once for all and is completely sufficient. But that doesn't answer the question Hebrews is addressing. Saying someone can later reject Christ doesn't imply His sacrifice was deficient. It means the person has rejected the only sacrifice that can save. The problem isn't with the sufficiency of the atonement, it's with apostasy.

So I don't think Hebrews 6 is teaching, "You can't lose salvation because Christ would have to die again." Rather, it's warning that those who knowingly reject the once and for all sacrifice after genuinely sharing in its blessings have nowhere else to turn for repentance because there is no other sacrifice beyond Christ's one sacrifice.

Where does the verse, also from 1 John, "And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world (1John 2:1-2)." fit in?
This appears pretty once for all to me. No redoing needed.

And what do you do with 1John 2:22? 'Who is the liar, if it is not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son."

Saying someone can later reject Christ doesn't imply His sacrifice was deficient. It means the person has rejected the only sacrifice that can save. In regard to Hebrews 6:4-6, once enlightened, which means to bring to light, to shed light upon or to cause light to shine upon some object, in the sense of illuminating it. John 1:9 describes Jesus, the "true Light," giving light "to every man," but this cannot mean the light of salvation, because not every man is saved. The light either leads to acceptance of Jesus Christ or produces condemnation in those who reject the light.

In regard to partakers of the Holy Spirit, the word translated “partaker” can certainly refer to a saving partaking in Christ, as we read in Hebrews 3:14, yet it can also refer to a less than saving association or participation. See Luke 5:7 and Hebrews 1:9 - "comrades, companions," which describes one who shares with someone else as an associate in an undertaking. These Hebrews who fell away had obviously in some aspect shared in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, but in what way? There are other ministries of the Holy Spirit which precede receiving the indwelling and sealing of the Holy Spirit, which only genuine believers receive.

Those who fall away absolutely could have been affiliated closely with the fellowship of the church. Such people certainly may have experienced sorrow for sin, heard and understood the gospel and have given some assent to it and have become associated with the work of the Holy Spirit while around believers and have tasted the heavenly gift and the powers of the age to come. They may have been exposed to the true preaching of the word of God yet have simply tasted and stopped there. People who have experienced these things may be genuine Christians, yet this alone is not enough to give conclusive evidence that the beginning stages of conversion (repentance unto life, regeneration, salvation, justification, etc..) have taken place for those who fell away.

The experiences in Hebrews 6:4-6 are all preliminary to those decisive beginning stages of becoming a Christian, yet those who draw back to perdition after receiving the 'knowledge' of the truth do not believe to the saving of the soul. (Hebrews 10:39)

These certain individuals who fall short of obtaining salvation certainly may have become partakers of the Holy Spirit in his pre-salvation ministry, convicting of sin and righteousness and judgment to come by tasting the good word of God and temporarily responding to His drawing power which is intended to ultimately lead sinners to Christ, yet the writer of Hebrews does not use conclusive terms that these individuals were "indwelled by the Holy Spirit" or "sealed by the Holy Spirit." Genuine believers who have believed the gospel are sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession/unto the day of redemption. (Ephesians 1:13-14; 4:30)

In regard to tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, they may have tasted in such a way as to give them a distinct impression of what was tasted, yet they still fell away. Inherent in the idea of tasting is the fact that one might or might not decide to accept what is tasted. For example, the same Greek word (geuomai) is used in Matthew 27:34 to say that those crucifying Jesus "offered him wine to drink, mingled with gall; but when he tasted it, he would not drink it." We do not merely taste, but drink into one Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:13)

In regard to renew them again unto repentance, this does not specify whether the repentance was merely outward or genuine accompanied by saving faith. They have in some sense "repented," there may be sorrow for sins and an attempt to turn from them (moral self-reformation) that non-believers can experience. There is repentance that falls short of salvation, which is clear from Hebrews 12:7 and the reference to Esau, as well as the repentance of Judas Iscariot in Matthew 27:3. Paul refers to a repentance “without regret that leads to salvation,” which shows there is a repentance that does not lead to salvation. As with “belief/faith”, so too with “repentance,” we must always distinguish between what is substantial and results in salvation and what is spurious. Renew them again "unto salvation" would be conclusive evidence for the argument of a loss of salvation.

In Hebrews 6:7-8, we read - For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; but if it bears thorns and briars, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned. In this metaphor relating to agriculture, those who receive final judgment are compared to land that bears no vegetation or useful fruit but rather bears thorns and thistles. We see in scripture where good fruit is the evidence of spiritual life and a lack of good fruit is a sign of false believers (Matthew 3:8-10; 7:15-20; 12:33-35) so we have an indication that the trustworthy evidence of one's spiritual condition is the fruit they bear (whether good or bad), suggesting that those who fell away in Hebrews 6 were not genuine believers.

*Verse 9 sums it up for me. The writer is speaking to those truly saved (refers to them as BELOVED). He says that even though he speaks like this concerning THOSE types of people, He is convinced of better things concerning YOU. Things that ACCOMPANY SALVATION. Thorns and briars and falling away permanently do not accompany salvation and are not fruits worthy of authentic repentance.

It's generally stated by those who believe that salvation can be lost that it can be regained again, yet that would not be the case here if the writer of Hebrews was teaching a loss of salvation. I have heard certain individuals state they know someone who was truly saved, but later lost their salvation, yet only God truly knows the heart of individuals. Certain people "on the surface" may do a good job of looking like the real deal for a while (like Judas Iscariot, who was an unbelieving, unclean devil who betrayed Jesus - John 6:64-71; 13:10-11) yet to the other 11 disciples, he looked like the real deal, but Jesus knew his heart.

There are genuine Christians and there are "nominal" Christians. There are genuine believers and there are make believers and it's not always easy telling them apart.
