It went off again after that post, but it has returned for the second time today.
To be honest, I am not even sure what "better" would look like. From a selfish perspective, it would be an easier life. From a selfless perspective, it would be to learn and grow from life's challenges for the betterment of my own heart and so I might also be better equipped to help others somewhere down the line who are facing similar trials or struggles.
While I was out driving earlier, I couldn't help but think how much my life resembles the fight scene in the original "Rocky" movie. No matter how much Rocky got the stuffing beat out of him, and no matter how bloodied or broken he was, he got up off of his stool every time a new round started, and he endured to the end.
If I could only find my own "Adrian"...

I seem to have escaped any tornadoes, but there are rumblings of thunder all around me. I'm heading out for lunch. I just hope it's not a flying cow that lands on my face.
