Print money? Isn't all money electronic/digital now?

Besides our coins and some notes still have the Queens head on it. I don't know how much longer those will be legal tender.
Yeah. Print as in generate.

When all money is digital you can't play 'heads or tails' anymore
And I don't know how anyone will play cricket
I guess they will just need to play paper, scissors, rock instead of flipping a coin...
I like paper, scissors, rock better than coin flipping anyway.

PAYE ...pay as you earn is already taken out of your pay before you even get it. If you a wage earner

Monopoly money that's what it is.
If you run out, of the printed notes in the game the rules say the bank can just make its own with paper and the denominations written on it. Or photocopy more even though those will be counterfeit.

I don't know how online gambling works, not sure I want to find out..but how can you rake in the cash when there is no literal coins/cash to rake?

Whenever wages rise the cost of living rises even more so you forever playing a game of catchup.

Most business will pay the bare minimum wage starting out which in New Zealand is $23.95 an hour
Vary rarely will they raise it, maybe 50 cents or so if you get qualified or have a qualification. It's unreal(istic)

In the States there is still paper currency. Though it is called, Federal Reserve Note.
Because it isn't actual money because there hasn't been a gold standard supporting our money since the early 1930's.

It is Fiat currency. Counterfeit. Valued according to what the Federal government determines.

They're slowly,with excuse,doing away with coins.
They stopped making bring the penny recently. The claim is it "costs" more to mint than what it holds at face value.
Besides our coins and some notes still have the Queens head on it. I don't know how much longer those will be legal tender.
When America goes strictly to electronic monies, which they started programming us to accept when the government introduced Direct Deposit for paychecks and government benefits, this country is going to fall into chaos.

Some banks stopped accepting paper checks last year.

When it goes fully electronic monies, we will survive by government allowance.

Like back when the Great Depression hit.
Banks were locked. If you had money filled accounts, too bad. You couldn't get your money.

The thing is, the money government said was gone, wasn't. It went somewhere!

Right about the the president, Franklin Roosevelt, signed Executive Order 6102 on April 5th 1933. This order demanded those who owned gold turn it in to local government to "stabilize the economy". It was illegal to hoard gold coins, bullion, and certificates.

Citizens and businesses were required to turn over their excess gold holdings to the Federal Reserve by May 1, 1933. In exchange, the government paid a statutory rate of $20.67 per troy ounce.

But,it was the Great Depression,right?

Nine months later, through the signing of the Gold Reserve Act of 1934, President Roosevelt officially devalued the dollar! And reset the price of gold to $35.00 per ounce. This allowed the Treasury to make a substantial profit, while citizens who turned over their gold received paper dollars that immediately lost purchasing power because they were Federal Reserve Notes.

And thanks to that Executive Order 6102, the former clause that appeared on Federal Reserve Notes, "redeemable in gold on demand", was voided.

Today, people really don't have any actual money. It is all Federal Reserve Notes.

This repeat of history is coming again.

Which is why it is wise to buy gold now. Which wasn't permitted for some 40 years or more after that Roosevelt EO.

Bug be smart about it. But bars, coins, ingot. But silver too. Coin, ingot.
But do not buy it on-line. Buy it directly from a dealer.

If you buy on-line there is a record. Along with your name and address.
Government authorities, just like with the obscene unconstitutional gun registration law, know exactly where to go to seize your gold. And guns.
If you own guns, buy ammunition in cash only. No debit card or credit card. For the same reason.

A few years ago ultra left Democrats in Congress thought one sure way to ban guns was to pass a law making it illegal to manufacture ammunition.

Obviously Morons sponsored such a bill, that of course failed, because of the obvious reasons. However, that showed Americans just how desperate Traitors in Congress are.

"We don't fight against flesh and blood...."

Done dismiss that as a parable for the spiritual minded. It's not. It's reality that exists in the Secular realm as well as the spiritual.

Never forget. Satan is still lord, prince,of this world.

His Disciples are in all government's across the Earth.
But,so too are God's.

Don't be afraid.
Don't be naive.
Don't doubt they are also in this forum and all communities on the Web. Because he can reach all people that way too.

And most importantly, don't doubt one absolute.

In the end he and his Disciples lose!

Stay strong,ready,vigilant,
alert, and whatever you do,stand ready to disobey authorities! When they seek to take your gold, silver, guns, and ammunition.
Income and property tax makes us slaves to government.

Indifference and cowardice makes us agreeable to the don their yoke.

um ok
What about buying gold and silver chains/necklaces/bracelets/watches/rings from Michael Hill Jewellers? In cash?
I mean bars and ingots just sit there doing nothing. May as well be useful.

Sure.

The point being,if a country goes cashless, you want something of value you can use to survive underground should your access to electronic funds be locked.

Which is why it is important to buy silver too.
You don't want to have to pay a gold rope necklace,or ingot, for something you could get for a silver coin.

Personally,I hope I'm dead before it gets that bad. While it is coming,I would rather not be here to see it.

Oh ok but if those silver coins aren't in circulation than I don't see it would do any good.

Besides it will just be bartering goods because you can't eat money. Unless its chocolate coins or something.

I'm not really bothered although if people know the govt is gonna take all their imaginary money then they might as well spend it all on things that make life worthwhile while we can...not hoard it.

Travel...food, clothing...as well as paying bills.

The silver and gold coins aren't a matter of circulation. It's a matter of their being hard currency. Their value depends on the weight of the precious metal.
Real currency.

No,you can't eat money. But you can buy food with hard currency.

Not really, I've never seen people buy food with hard currency i.e real silver and gold
The coins we have now are only under $1 and $2 (gold coloured, not REAL gold) and 50cents and 20 cents and 10 cents (silver, but not REAL silver)

Unless you talking wholesale, but most people will buy food in retail, like at the supermarket or market. Using cash or cards. Also, most foods are more than $2.

Not arguing with you, just saying this is the reality now and we ought to only worry about what we need to do today, not about tomorrow, tomorrow will take care of itself.

We can also grow food/hunt/forage/fish and do swaps. Don't necessarily need to buy food if we have no money.

I got some food from the foodbank the other week.
You don't need to dumpster dive. There are open pantries and other things. You just need to know people. Community gardens etc.

Anyway, I heard in Australia they don't need to pay GST on fresh produce.

Just wondering what everyone thinks of this

Is it right to evade taxes or hide money so as not to pay taxes? Apparently lots of business do this as they think it's normal.

Different countries have different tax brackets and ways of calculating tax. What do you think is fair?

Do you agree with what your country spends it on?

Would you rather live somewhere where you pay little or no tax, no matter what your income is?

Do you donate to charities and claim tax rebates as a result? As its gift and not a source of income for charity...but some charities rely on donations or regular contributions for cash-flow or income. What do you think of this?

I doubt most businesses evade taxes. It's illegal 1st off and if they get caught they go to prison. Instead businesses invest their money and itemize and know tricks for paying the least amount of taxes.

I do that and don't consider it a sin. I will chatgpt every possible itemized option for us and ask our accountant ways to pay the least amount of taxes. 😂

Jesus obeyed the laws and told others to do the same. I think that was really the main point about the taxes and give to Caesar what is his. I agree bc ultimately you'll go to prison if you don't.

I don't agree with taxes personally bc I don't agree what it's spent on. I don't think the welfare system should be generational. I don't think they should get better medical than people working, etc. That's best case scenario if the money is going to where it's supposed to be going. But I also think there is money laundering and people in government just stealing it. Planned parenthood was getting money from my taxes to fund abortion and I hate that as well. It's like a HOA where you give them money for them to harass you. The less money they get the better. 😂

Taxes are out of hand nowadays. Income tax and they charge the same holding twice for it. There's even taxes for death. I think it's out of hand and of course they never get enough and it always goes up.

What about the tax-free shelters like Cayman Islands and Delaware. What is up with that. And Swiss bank accounts.
Do all those places get rich hoarding your money for you?

Reportedly, the days of stashing cash in Swiss banks is long over with.
One reason, the Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI).

I had a feeling things would change when the news broke years ago. Switzerland joined the United Nations.

The rich know how to avoid tax legally. They can afford accountants who know how to work the system. There are exceptions. Elon Musk paid $10 billion in taxes one year, even though who does not take a salary from Tesla and did not get paid for his stint with Mr Trump's regime. There are other billionaires who could follow his example.

Jesus told us to pay taxes. I used to try and minimise my tax by inflating my legitimate expenses. Wrong. I was convicted and stopped doing it. If we honour God by doing things His way, we will be blessed.

In Post 303 in the thread "1 Day Ago) Tyler Robinson , accused of the murder of Charlie Kirk, has second court hearing" in the News forum you claimed I was a liar.

I have asked you in post 304 to point to the post of mine that you are saying I lied in and to identify what you are saying was the lie.

You have ignored that. Post #306 you continue to post ignoring the request to back up your slander.

Right now you are someone who is spreading slander. I pointed out in my post you never even tried to contact me to say there was something I had said that you felt was a lie. You have accused me of being a liar and don't tell me which post is the offensive post and what was it that I said.

This post here was made after I requested you politely to tell me what you think was the lie. It demonstrates that you slander others and ignore any requests from them for you to identify what it is that they said which you consider to be a lie.
