Well for games, you'd want something with Windows, which I think requires a bit more effort but the results can be very amazing.
Also I think Apple in general is more expensive to invest in and you're getting less in return.

If I have this right, Apple computers are for people who don't really use computers due to how very simplified and closed source it is but not everyone is willing to wrestle with PC's or even Linux, but you're getting somewhat less specs and freedom.

Also for gaming, I don't really bother with laptops because they're either harder or impossible to upgrade, which upgrading a Desktop PC is far cheaper than buying a new one.
Desktops are more cost effective, it's just not portable lol, but worth it.
oh ok
No, not getting a desktop have no room on my desk for it. Not enough power outlets either.

Sorry. I like the convenience of a mobile laptop.

my dad has windows and desktop PC but I'm not going to use his and take it over for games.

How about the iphones though can you play games esp Hello Kitty Adventure on them? I might try it out later. Could cast it to TV? Wouldn't you need a console or some sort of keyboard?

my gamer cousins are great at fixing up Windows and android but they are completely clueless at Apple devices so its of no use to me.

lol.

Each of them has their own gaming PCs with the type of desk that goes up and down, the seats, the headsets etc.

I don't really want to go down that route. I just thought I would try out a game for fun. Not an investment.

Maybe I should just go to a video game arcade somewhere if they still have them?

I have not seen one anywhere for years. There's time out by the movies...but I'm not sure they have the hello Kitty game I want to play. They do have those grab a soft toy machines though.

Wonder how much one would cost? 🤔
I mean to buy the whole console/machine

Kind of like tetris but real life. I don't know how many goes I would need to win though.
I am sure I would make lots of gamer friends if I had this machine

Well if you want to try games, I think the Apple store has a lot to try with JRPGs (Japanese Role Playing Games) Like Dragon Quest games. And I'm talking REAL video games and not simple Mobile games.

Ok

I'm not that much of a fan of Dragons, but is there like a Hobbit game you can play. I suppose there is because I remember seeing The Hobbit at the movies, or maybe it was the sequel and it honestly looked like a video game to me.

Of course, it's the classic fantasy quest. And does have a dragon in it, but only one.
The hobbits also flew by eagles.
They also went down a river in an oak barrel.

Of course I can just go to Hobbiton in real life. It's just down the line...
But its just walking around the Hobbit holes in the shire and having a drink at the Green Dragon inn, you don't actually get to go on any rides.

The gardens are cool though.

Can also see a somewhat real life size Smaug at the Weta Workshop in town. I have been, and also see the miniature models they create of Middle Earth etc.

Did you know they carve them out of butter?

Actually you don't play as a Dragon in Dragon Quest, it's just called that, it's like Lord of the Rings and you control people like warriors, wizards ect.
It's a game where you explore a world and see a story unfold while you fight monsters in turn based battles so no need to worry about your reflexes.

mmm ok, what about witches. Don't wizards need to have witches as well.

Most likely but I'm not a Dragon Quest super fan and I've played few of their games so I'm not super familiar with the mythos.
I mean there's a lot of "fantasy" in Dragon Quest games and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Butt-Monster because Akira Toriyama is a funny guy.

It's pretty old style too, it's colorful and fun and the names of spells are cute like "Kazzap" is lightning and "Zoom" is to transport to somewhere you've been before.

Usually has some really good stories about growth, responsibility and duty, romance, adventure, ect.

I have just started playing Hello Kitty Adventure on my iphone

hooray! It's so much fun

:)
The graphics are really cool too, plus I'm making friends on the island. We had to jump from the airplane with rainbow balloons!

I play JRPGs and MMOs on and off.

My username is taken from a WoW blog I used to follow over a decade ago, who touted that he was a Christian. It is a play on words where after a raid wipe, you remain dead on the floor waiting for some other player to release and run all the way back and use the mass rez spell so you don't have to do anything, as opposed to respawning and having to manually run back to the boss room yourself. Ofcourse it also has the double meaning of waiting for a better eternal life, the return of our King, etc.
