What do you mean 'at least' played?
I haven't played every single video game in the world. Come on, be realistic.
We had free bricks from the supermarket that were like Lego, the children played with them. I let them play that in the library after they had read their books or in free time /lunch time.
I didn't allow video games because I needed the computers for checking out books and I didn't want them accessing whatever rubbish they might get into online, even on you-tube.

There was a Scholastic video game but I never actually played that when you CAN read the books instead. And you can read books anywhere, don't need batteries/charging up.

Don't think I missed anything. Maybe if they had Super Mario brothers AND sisters?
Carmen Sandeigo and Sim City were the ones to play on the computer. But back then, we just couldn't afford all the tech (not that I can now) to play endless games and it took too much time.
I think many games have come a long way from 2D pixels to 3D 360 degree surround matrix or whatever you gamers call it. CGI has become a lot more ...dimensional.
But I am not going to go into wearing those game glasses where you just pretty much live/game inside a virtual video. I think there is a point where I say 'enough' it's not that exciting, or the novelty wears off. But this goes for any endeavour, not just video games.
The cost as well. Ok if its your hobby, but not a full-time hobby for me. And it doesn't have to be. You can just simply enjoy games without being obsessed with them.
I was at a cards merchants store the other day and people were gaming (with cards) but I felt a bit out of place cos the only cards I have are 53 pack of generic playing cards. I don't collect them. But I did end up buying a yum cha card game just out of curiosity.
The most popular card game we sold in the bookstore I used to work in was 'Cards Against Humanity'. Never played and don't think I want to lol. Also the trivia ones, well once you answered or looked at them all, the game is over!

I haven't gotten into the sonic series my whole life, but just recently I've played through Sonic Adventure DX, and I have to say I'm impressed with the characters, and the lore. I do hope I get to explore the series a bit more. I like Tails especially.
Yeah, I don't want to spoil anything. It's hard for me to describe it further than being an open-world action-adventure game with linear progression, but it is something inspired and original. Also perhaps relatable to the current age.
Actually more like the future projected from the early 2000's being the peak of technology.
Is there a back-to-the-future game that goes back to 1985?
I suppose I can look up anything I want on google..its just that Internet didn't become world-wide until about the mid 90s.
I played it back in my PS2 days, when all I had was video games.
Standard government conspiracy storyline. It was a good game for the time, but did not age well.
I was at the mall the other day and thought I would check out the Time-Out arcade next to the movies. No good movies seemed to be on except the Cat Video Fest, but it only plays at certain times.
So I noticed they had some video games there, the old Street Fighter, one that looked like a Sega Tropical Island Adventure, some car racing ones,
There were also lots of claw grab boxes, 2 karaoke booths (with Japanese songs) a lot of sideshow toss games, a high striker, basketball, Candyland game, a Batman pinball machine (actual pinballs) air hockey.. there was a Pokemon game..
I don't recall any point and shoot ones. Or Star Wars or space invaders (we call them 'spacies') Oh they had Pacman (the original). It's all card operated now that nobody has coins.
Sonic the Hedgehog is obviously based on the old pinball machines. It's a very fast game, but it can go on for a while like the levels I remember could be never ending and by the end of playing your eyes would be SHOT. Or fried!!
I am probably a bit jaded as none looked appealing for me enough to spend money (or time) on them.
