Hi KimberlyS22 welcome to CC, glad you are joining us😊 What it means to be a Christian is to be a Jesus in this world people can see. Like the early church being ready to share the gospel, helping and encouraging others & the poor and having a heart for others in general. Have fun browsing the Forums, God bless you and your endeavors!🙏🌷

Thank you! Nice to meet you, adjustment that there’s a lot of people claiming to be Christians, but their values do not align with Jesus.

I am Kimberly. I’m a long time Christ follower, these days it’s a little loaded to say you are a Christian not really sure what that means anymore. Just looking for friends to exchange ideas.
There are days that I don't know either in regard to who is really a Christian or not. It is best to focus on working on developing your own Christian attributes. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

Hello Kimberly, it's nice to meet you!

I'm also looking for friends who are passionate about the Word and open to discussing it with you.

What is your favourite book or verse from the New Testament?

Hello Kimberly! I am new here also and looking to connect with new people that share my faith. It’s sad that sometimes when I talk about my faith it can turn people. I don’t push it on them, but I let them know (when asked) how important it is in my life. So to me being a Christian is just being good to others, serving when and how you can (big or small), and being a positive source of energy to those around us. And most of all, knowing that God is with us, for us, and always loves us, and wants the best for us- just like a real, loving Parent 😊

Nice to meet you!

Mark 3:33-35
New International Version
33 “Who are my mother and my brothers?” he asked.
34 Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! 35 Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”

Matthew 25:33
New International Version
33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

Revelation 20:11-15
New International Version
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
