Why did the Defense lawyer point at the husband's inconsistencies in the courtroom but yet defend him in the press?
Because the Husband retained her lawyer with a couple hundred dollars whether Redington wanted to be later on or not. (Likely not).
A lawyer is legally obligated to represent the best interests of their clients. Whether they wish to or not. Especially if lying to the press will suffice. Inside the courtroom? Whole nuther matter.
A lawyer will always attempt to discredit a witness that hurts their case.
I found the husbands testimony truthful (as did people who are trained deception experts) and his alibi was verified with credit card receipts, phone calls, store cameras, etc.
But by all means, if you wish to be added to the list of people he is suing for slander, tell us what his "inconsitencies" were.

Verna Mae Verdin, her daughter Letha Verrett, her son Paul Verret, and his girlfriend Krissy Lynn Parfait were stabbed to death at their home in the community of Houma, the relative and advocate, Brandon Thiel, told Louisiana television news station WVUE and said on an online campaign raising funds in part for the victims’ funeral expenses.
The wounded child reportedly was Letha’s six-year-old grandson, who happened to be spending Saturday night with her.
Local authorities have not formally identified any of the victims of Saturday’s stabbing spree but did say they had detained a 47-year-old man named Kaegan Jude Solet in connection with the case.

Absolutely and yes definately dump him. If you are sadly married to that individual, go over scripture together if he is a 'Christian' and if not, pray for protection every day and often.

Hating men is what is REALLY going on in this thread........And It really isn't about "hating men" It's about HATING their authority.
I don't hate men but I sure am very disappointed in what 'men' are saying in this thread including you. None of you have to wonder about authority.
None of you have authority if you have to bully, snark, be rude to and twist what women say about your behavior.
As it is, none of you have authority over the women in this forum and the way you speak suggests to me you are not having it at home either. But the Bible never told you to bully and subdue women and it actually says submit to one another.

See men, authority is never going to be the magic wand some of you seem to think you can wield. If you had authority in the God given respectful sense, you would not, (collectively speaking because so called 'Christian' men are often not better than men who do not even give God a thought all day) have the need for demanding what you apparently do not have and sometimes physically try to dominate your wife to get.
