In which case, my own "next step of obeying God's Commandments" would be in
accordance with Romans 16:17 AV, with 🙏 [ coincidentally his own avatar ], eh?

Yep, lots of people in these last days walking after the flesh saying they are Christians

Jude 1:17-19
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

people have a different definition of sin.

Yeah they won't accept what the Lord's definition of sin is and they certainly refuse to accept His warnings to Christians concerning what happens to those who walk not after the Spirit but walk after the flesh - they deny God's Word on this topic

Romans 8:13 - For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

I'm not an OSAS believer and I'm not a Sinless Perfection believer because neither of these beliefs are God's ways, so I don't fall into either camp on this thread.
I am surprised that you don't feel that obeying God perfectly is not "God's way".
Especially since He had this written for us..."Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Matt 5:48)
You are both ignoring verses in the Bible that don't support your beliefs and both sides are twisting the plain meaning of the verses you do use to make it support your beliefs.
I supplied the plain verses that both of you are ignoring or twisting, but they are there for anyone else who wants to learn from God Himself.
I feel that what you supplied, from 1 John 3:9, has been contaminated by the accommodators of continued sinning.
It was anti-Christ !
And 1 John 1:8 is addressing those who walk in darkness; not those who walk in the light...which is God, in whom is no sin.
Jesus was falsely accused by the Pharisees and Sadducees but they never intimidated Him. I think God is actually letting me practice what Jesus did in terms of conduct. This is what it means to abide in Him, He wants us to grow in His ways but putting us into situations where we can apply what we're learning from Him!

God is good! ❤️🤗
Will you point out that accusation you refer to ?

1 John 5:18 - We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Keeps himself as in abiding in Christ

Romans 6:16 - Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

The sealed, forgiven, saved soul of the believer does not sin. The human nature of a believer does.

Look at the stats on believers who access pornography for the brutal truth.

Some of your posts, like this one, are very positive and pro-obedience.
While others, are very castigating and accusatory, and very anti-obedience.
What's the deal ?

Yeah, alot of peeps don't think much about what Ray really teaches

You're right. They should if they are saved.
A few have told me that they like his style of evangelism and I'm asking, what do think you have to do to be saved?

I found 3 short clips of Ray Comfort.
If you don't mind I'll post them from Pastor Shelley.

If I simplify this to two points, it makes it easier for the lost who listened to RC to understand....unless they are just another false prophet.

A. Properly define repentance/repent
God was the first to repent, so obviously the word doesn't mean "to turn from sins" as the false lying preachers have told us.

B. When it comes to SALVATION the issue is the object of your faith.
If your faith is in anything besides the Savior Jesus Christ, then you must change your mind, rejecting the vain object and instead believe on Jesus alone for His precious gift.

There's more to the gospel than just that, but these two points seem to clarify the issue with the emphasis on the fact it's not of works, but of the Lord

Doesn't that depend on what you are repenting of/from ?
I can repent of driving West, and that isn't anything at all about sin.
But If I repent of sin, I turn from sinning !

For me, salvation is about being raised from the dead, to eternal life.

I agree, as the works of the Law never made anyone perfect.

Yes, That's my point.
The term repent is constantly misrepresented by preachers like Ron Comfort. They lie to people about the term in order to impart upon grace the works of the law, just as the Pharicees did.

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

We know the application is dependent upon context since God Himself repented many times. He changed His mind about creating mankind and again changed His mind and decided to not destroy Nineveh.

Believers who are already saved need to repent of sins as frequently as necessary and confess them to God. This is a means of growth and getting back to on talking terms with our Father.
As for salvation, the lost need to repent of trusting in idols or trusting in their own righteousness to trust Jesus as the only One Who was falsely Accused, tortured and crucified until death, buried and arose for our justification. He gives the purchased gift of everlasting life to all who come to Him in faith.
For me, salvation is about being raised from the dead, to eternal life.

Amen!

Yeah, i think.. how does someone, if a lost person, lost in sin, turn from sin?

It can for some, just mean..know you are a sinner and believe on Jesus Christ...just using that 'turn from sin' phrase.. but for others it is actually a work of changing behaviors before salvation. Hence the need for clarity.
