And others claim they are burning now in an eternal hell.
What's the point?
You are both wrong on this matter.
Do you believe the Lord was so impressed with these people that He rewarded them with Heaven?

Yeah, that's what it says, but it does not say they went to hell for it.Ananias and Sapphira stole from God, lied to the apostles, lied to the Holy Spirit (all for the sake of mammon).
Then they dropped dead trying to get away with it.
It says they died.Yeah, that's what it says, but it does not say they went to hell for it.
You can assume all you wish but i wont assume anything unless the text specifically says it.
They dropped dead. No chance for repentance once dead.Do you believe the Lord was so impressed with these people that He rewarded them with Heaven?
Then in that case I agree, they went to the grave (hell)It says they died.
The punishment of eternal death (or the promise of eternal life) does not begin until after the resurrections.
The word "hell" in the bible simply means the "grave". It does not refer to a place of eternal torment. That's pagan/Catholicism.
Thank you all for the replies to my post. This was posted because someone who has something in their lifestyle that the bible says is sinful but society says is not wanted to hear what other christians thought on whether someone can live in sin and still be saved.
Regrettably some of the replies appear to indicate that there's no way a chrsitian wouldn't go to heaven if they keep living in sin so this person continues to think their sinful lifestyle is a non-issue.
It is given in scripture. Then in that case I agree, they went to the grave (hell)
But as far as the place of torment? That is not given to us in scripture.
A stupid believer can live in sin and be saved from the Lake of Fire after he dies.
Leaving it in the Lord's hands.
A stupid believer can live in sin and be saved from the Lake of Fire after he dies.
For there was not one sin that Jesus did not pay the penalty for.
But in his lifetime he will not be saved from pain and misery.
God will have these morons to enter into a miserable life, and then into a painful death.
If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask,
and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin
unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 1 John 5:16
Leading to death? Not praying?
Leaving it in the Lord's hands.
Ask those that were in Sodom and Gomorrah. The person needing to see this conversation is in to homosexuality
Do you think a person can be a homosexual and still be saved then?
First, let me say: you need to seek. You need to read. You need to study. You need to pray. You need to find these truths for yourself. There are things being said here by a few that are not in the word of God, yet because someone says them, they treat it as if it's truth. Very confusing. You need to know: Did Jesus Christ come in the flesh, die of the Virgin Mary, die on the cross, get buried, rise the third day, and sit at the right hand of the Father? Did he die for past, present, future sins, or not? According to what I read and understand, he did.A friend of mine is saying well know ministers teach that all future sins have already been forgiven even before they are ever committed.
Is this actually true? If it is then what is stopping christians from doing sinful things knowing they are already foriven ahead of time?
Also if someone never confesses their sins after being saved does that mean those sins are not forgiven. I heard a preacher say once that we have to confess our sins if we expect to be cleansed from all unrighteousness and he said 1 john 1-9 makes that clear

You really believe a gay person can live in their gay lifestyle never repenting of the sin of being gay and still go to Heaven?I remember watching years ago on the John Ankerberg show a homosexual dying of AIDS who had returned to Christ.
He died. Yet, he confessed Christ to the end.
I posted this for someone that wanted to see what other christians say about this rather then just having me show themSome seek deliverance.
What is a person says they are a christian and does not believe their sinful lifestyle is sinful and continues in their sin?He said, "If we say we don't have any sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. "
That's why we confess our sins, His faith and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Context matters.

Am I understanding you right that it's ok to be gay and there are gay christians?
That's not what 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 is saying about people that keep living in the things the text is saying will cause them to not be accepted in to God's kingdom.
