Ananias and Sapphira stole from God, lied to the apostles, lied to the Holy Spirit (all for the sake of mammon).
Then they dropped dead trying to get away with it.
Yeah, that's what it says, but it does not say they went to hell for it.
You can assume all you wish but i wont assume anything unless the text specifically says it.

It says they died.
The punishment of eternal death (or the promise of eternal life) does not begin until after the resurrections.

The word "hell" in the bible simply means the "grave". It does not refer to a place of eternal torment. That's pagan/Catholicism.

Thank you all for the replies to my post. This was posted because someone who has something in their lifestyle that the bible says is sinful but society says is not wanted to hear what other christians thought on whether someone can live in sin and still be saved.

Regrettably some of the replies appear to indicate that there's no way a chrsitian wouldn't go to heaven if they keep living in sin so this person continues to think their sinful lifestyle is a non-issue.

Then in that case I agree, they went to the grave (hell)
But as far as the place of torment? That is not given to us in scripture.
