17, Pregnant, and my boyfriend is in Jail..

I wish I could say I was the perfect Christian.. But I'm not.. I am going through a terrible time in my life. I am 17 years old, trying to get back into school, trying to find a job, and expecting a baby. I just moved to a new state on the 10th. The night before, my boyfriend was arrested due to an unexpected warrant placed on his name. He got into some trouble involving possession, conspiracy, and uttering and publishing. These bad choices were made back before we got together, and this man changed so much after. He got a job, quit his heavy drugs, and was showing signs of being such a good father. He loved his baby very much even with it just being in my tummy.. He is now facing 15 years of prison time because of these choices he made before he got better. He was arrested, and I moved across the country the next day. I know I am young, and I have been told by many to just move on, but it is still the hardest thing I have ever had to endure, considering we planned on getting married and taking care of our family together. Now I am a pregnant teen with nothing, I'm lonely, and I seem to have fallen from God tremendously. I am asking for prayers. Please. From anybody. My prayers seem to not be enough anymore.. Thank you.

You need to trust in the blood of Jesus for your salvation. Pray to God and He will help you. You should get married before you have any realations with a man again. Jesus loves you.

Do you have any family that you could go to? You really need a support system right now.

There is probably a pregnancy crisis center near you that can offer some good advice and help (not planned parenthood!). They usually have Christian counselors and also know of local help programs.

God loves you very much, sweetie and He will hold you up at this time. I will pray for you to meet some people where you're living and that family members or close friends will step in to help.

I know it's a scary thing to go through and you're feeling panicky but try not to. Like others said, listening to worship music, spending time in God's Word will help you to focus on what you need to do :)

oh no no no baby girl you will be just fine! delete those negative thoughts out of your mind & tell yourself your gonna be a wonderful mommy which you are, your baby is going to be healthy, your blessed & highly favored, your fearfully & wonderfully made, more than a conqueror, everything you touch turns into gold! dont let the devil take you down when God says your born to be raised up! in my heart i see those charges being dropped & he's not gonna serve 15 years! keep praying & keep on praying because God is in control! think positive and how much motherhood is beautiful speaking from a mother myself its the greatest gift ever given. you'll find a job, you will go back to school dont even worry about that. Please dont listen to those individuals that tell you wrong okay thats Gods call not there's & dont feed off the negativity you dont need to be discourage! enjoy your pregnancy its wonderful & so what if your 17 your carrying Gods miracle! i will def be praying for you love :)

You are very much in my daily prayers in Jesus.
You sound like you will be a wonderful mom, even when mistakes are made.
I have raised five children, and made plenty of mistakes, but its not the mistakes my children remember, it is the love!
Jesus is your comfort and rest, and loves you more than you can fathom, He will remain close to your side.
The others are correct about pregnacy help, another wonderful group is preganacy aid, a friend of mine was one of the founders, when she was pregnant and alone many years ago. :)
Consider the love you feel for your baby, and multiply it by eternity, that is how much God loves you!
