Hey guys,

I feel I am still very uneducated when it comes to understanding parts of God's word, and I could really use some prayers for getting wisdom. I want to understand what God wants me to do, and do it right. A huge thank you to anyone who prays for me :D

Job 28:28 wisdom comes through the fear of the Lord and Under standing is shunning away from sin. read the bible and pray slowly, the lord will arise you conscious and you will gradually gain wisdom not only on worldly things but also spiritual.

may everything you ask in pray be granted

God's blessings on you! I will pray for you.I was in a bible study class for about 10 years, with some great people, much older than me and life long believers. I learned so much but, two things really stood out. Much of the understanding of God's word, is less about being uneducated, (we are all learning) and more about having an open heart, to pray to God for His help to understand before you open your bible. The other great thing I learned was by example, people in my group were 60,70 years old, knew so much more than me, still going to bible study, still excited about learning new things. And still, asking God for His help to understand His word. How wonderful. God will show you the way, my friend, all you need is faith and trust. God bless.

First of all, if you're humble enough to ask, you're already on the right track. The world doesn't understand humility, which is sad because it is the skeleton key that unlocks understanding. I majored in Sociology. My favorite class was Social Psychology. In that class they basically defined humility as "false modesty". The world will not understand your humbleness. If you demonstrate humility, if you are gentle, peaceful, joyful, etc., they will assume you weak. They will mock you. The Bible explains their lack of understanding in my places. This is one:

1 Corinthians 2:14
[SUP]14 [/SUP]But the natural(worldy) man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John contain the words of Christ. Those are the most important words a human can read. Head to those books first.

Proverbs is an entire book on wisdom, and I always recommend it. It's perfect for a young man (or any man/woman for that matter), and it's easy to understand if you read it with an honest desire to find wisdom in it - with full faith that the truth is there waiting for you to discern it with the help of the Spirit.

Don't skim through it. Read is slowly. Pick it apart. Study it. Pray about it. Talk about what you've learned with other Christians.

James 1:5
[SUP]5 [/SUP]If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Thank you Lord that you hear our prayers. As your children we call out for wisdom and we know that you will deliver this, as we walk humbly under your authority, studying, praying and living out your Word. Please bless all those that seek to know you and to walk in obedience, fear and trembling. Thank you Lord that you are strong to save and are our redeemer. Thank you for all the promises you give to us and that if we draw close to you, you will never leave us or forsake us. Thank you that you hold us in your mighty right hand.
In your precious Sons name, <><

For God will do waht you ask according to God's will of being free in him accordingly, read and seek out truth of waht you read from God as your personal teacher, hear others as you might do,et take all said into yuorown heart where God lives in you by belief in God
[h=3]Ephesians 1:13[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[SUP]13 [/SUP]And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

God is become your truth to seperate any errors that entagle you to a yoke of bondage, beinig all stressed out and worried, he came to take that away, in you, and not to take it for granted, rather to appreciate his amazing grace given to you by and thorugh his Son christ
I am elated ypouareon your way to total freedom in God, knowing god's will for you without a doubt

Get under the branch my friend. -
Because Jesus is the vine.
All of us want to know God's perfect plan for our lives.
Billy Graham still wonders. - You just have to live it.
