I have my BES (Board of Evaluation for Students) test today and I'm kinda nervous. It's the test that determines if i pass my Interpreting 1 class and can move on to Interpreting 2. If I don't pass these classes, I can't get certified, and I can't graduate. I can't afford not to pass. There are 2 parts to this test; an ASL to English part and an English to ASL part. I'm not worried about the ASL to English, it's the English to ASL part. I'll be hearing the information in English, and I have to manually interpret that into ASL. I think I've already explained the difference between English and ASL, but if you don't get it, I'd be happy do it again. I"m also not feeling well, and I sound like a frog today, so if y'all could pray for me, I'd really appreciate it.

I'll let y'all know later how I think I did and I'll post my results when I get them.

Thanks for the prayers guys. I should find out some time this summer how I did. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to talk about it. I can, however, talk about my feelings about it, and I think I did pretty well. The ASL to English section, was a little tougher than I thought, but I think I did ok. It's all in God's and the evaluatuion teams hands now.

I PASSED!!!!! I had a meeting with my teacher this morning to discuss my test. My scores were less than stellar, but he reccomended that I move on to Interpreting 2. I'm nervous-excited about it. The interpreting teacher is tough and particular, but funny. I've had her for another class and it wasn't too bad.

Hey guys, I have final exams this week. As it happens, they're all on Tuesday. Say some prayers that I do well and pass. I had my Interpreting 2 BES last week, and I find out tuesday night how I did.

ASL=American Sign Language. Don't remember what the Australian sign language is called. Probably just Australian Sign Language.

One final down, and one more to go. i have my math test at 1:40 pm cst. My Specialized Srttings test wasn't too bad, but it's this math one that's gonna kick my butt. I need a 70 to pass the class with a C, but of course, I don't want a C, I'd rather have a B, so please pray I get higher than a 70.

My final exams have been taken, and now it's time to celebrate. Who wants cake?
