Just seen on the local news, tomorrow, July the 4th, a decision is being made whether to keep this children's heart unit open in Leeds, Yorkshire, England.
Please could you take some time to pray that it will be able to stay open. Then children and mothers won't have to trek miles down south to get their much needed treatment for their heart conditions.
Here's a short article for more info.. July decision likely on Leeds children
Thanks so much, more prayer.. more power right ;)
God Bless x

Father, we pray for this hospital, that it will remain open. We know that you use the hands of men to care for these children. We pray for the patients, Lord, that you will touch them and make them whole. In Jesus' Name we ask it, Amen.

Holy And Most LOVING Father,we humbly come before thee, with all faith and no doubt. We ask your will be taken place in this very important matter. You said in your Word Lord in 1Peter 5:7 casting all your cares on HIM, because he cares for you! Since we Lord have cares for the hospital we cast them upon you,for you not only care for us,but also for the children who need this Hospital!

We place these children in your hands,as we place our self as well in YOUR Hands! Move upon those Oh Lord, even as you moved to harden the heart of Pharaoh,we ask you now to soften those hearts to keep your children free from harm, and so that we in you, may place ALL The Glory TO you!! Both NOW and forever amen! I agree with my sisters here,YOUR WILL BE DONE!! On EARTH!!! As it always is in heaven amen!( matt 6:6-15!)

My first child had heart surgery, but passed away at age 10 days.

"Father God, I pray that this Children's Heart Unit be spared, and instead grow with capacity to heal the hearts of children in this area. I know Your glory, Lord, has shown many, many times as Your hands guided the surgeons' hands. Please, Father, please cover this unit with Your hand and bring Your safety and security to these healers You have placed here to do Your work, so Your work here can continue. I thank you Lord for your mercy, and by your Grace were we all saved. In whatever capacity my authority in You can be released, having had a child with heart problems worked on by Your healers many years before, I receive for this unit your Blessings, and continuance of their work for Your glory. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."

Thanks so much to everyone who prayed and please keep the families affected in prayer as the decision was made to close units in Leeds, Leicester and London. I think it was because of re-structuring.. This was the reason the committee gave:

The changes are in the interests of children, said the committee. "This is a landmark decision that clinicians and patients have long called for which will enable the NHS to improve care for children with congenital heart disease," said Sir Neil McKay, its chairman.

"The needs of children, not the vested interests of hospitals, have been at the heart of this review. We only took the decision today after undergoing a robust, fair and transparent process which has already withstood the scrutiny of the highest courts in the land. Before making our decision, we carefully considered the responses to public consultation and all the available evidence and advice

Really appreciate your prayers from America, New Zealand and Africa! It's encouraging to see people respond. Let's continue in prayer for the families and the surgeons and the nurses. Giving constant thanks to our Heavenly Father for Jesus and for His sacrifice, for Salvation.. And thanking the Jesus for preparing a place in Heaven for us and for all the children who God receives back to Him early. One day we will all be together again.. until then, Stay Strong and Keep your faith in Jesus.
God Bless xx
