I'm going on my third day of shooting, nearly burning pain, down my left leg. When I'm laying down, it's fine but when I'm standing, and most of the time when I'm sitting, it hurts like crazy. (And I am seeking treatment for it.)

I'm also dealing with arthritic flair ups in my hand and have a major three day concert this week.

Really could use some prayers.

I've been through similar problems recently. I knw how diffcult and distracting it is to deal with the pain. Will stand with you in prayer!

Grant wisdom to the docs,

Please protect her hands, and let the concert

violakat...I am hoping for the great peace accord between our cats. :)
so far, what we have is a sort of détente. ;)

The problem with my back is that my hip went out of whack, and since I didn't go in last week, when I should have, it flared up, and is being even more stubborn I think, because of arthritis flare up going on. But I've still been able to play, despite the back pain. My hand was fine until last night, and decided to swell in between a lesson and rehearsals. It got so bad that at one point I had to stop playing. Anyway, I went to the doctor today, and she gave me an injection and some meds. I'm not suppose to play for tonight's concert, so it can rest. But hopefully I will be able to play tomorrow and on Sunday.

Well, I was suppose to go to the rheumatologist yesterday, but that didn't work out. Mainly, they didn't tell me they had changed locations from what was on the website. So needless to say, with my back still hurting badly, I was not in a good mood for awhile. So, instead, I went over to my doctor's to get a recommendation and see if there was anything else that could be done. She ended up giving me a pain killer prescription, (not vicodin. Do not want the possibilities of becoming addicted.) and that seems to be working. And, I have another appointment this week for another rheumatologist, and the cost actually should be a whole lot less.

And I was able to play on Saturday and Sunday.
