Dear Shirley,

You will surely be in my prayers tonight. I know that I am only 20, and probably haven't experienced half of what you've been through, but I offer you some of my advice.

I have a heart for those who suffer from depression, having already mourned the loss of three friends from suicide due to it. Firstly, I encourage you to pray-- for your daughter, for your husband, and anyone else who may be involved in your situation. Pray, pray, and then pray some more. Though it seems like, sometimes, nothing is happening when you pray, remember that YOU are a child of the God of the universe, and He most certainly cares for His children, listens to their prayers, and responds to them. Secondly, if your daughter is attempting suicide, get her help immediately if you have not done so already. Children are a blessing from God, but they can be hard to handle, no doubt. Even in your daughter's times of rebellion, show some degree of patience with her, and if anything, at least try to show her that you are attempting to see issues from her point of view. At the same time, you also need to assert your authority over her as a mother. It's a tricky balance, but remember that people are fragile. You are fragile, your daughter is fragile, and so is your husband. Find underlying causes of feelings of bitterness, anger, depression, loneliness, etc., and try to work toward resolving them, if possible. Finally, your husband. Now, I'm not married, neither am I fully informed of the situation between you and your husband. I can only say this: I met a woman who was having severe problems with her husband, and she said that he didn't love her anymore. This turned out to be false. Her husband loved her dearly, but the day to day struggles between them overshadowed it. If this is the situation you're in, don't say your husband doesn't love you. Those feelings are lies, and shouldn't be believed. If this is not the situation you are in, find some support from other family and friends, and work out your problems in a way suitable to your situation. Don't ever believe that you are alone. There are people out there who will hold you up.

Shirley, I hope this helped in some way, shape, or form. Some of the advice may be obvious, general advice, but sometimes, it's necessary to hear it from different people, even strangers. If anything, know that there are people praying for you, and God is watching over you and leading you every step of the way. Stay strong in faith, because surely there are brighter days to come. I pray peace over you and your family in hopes that everything will be resolved.

In Christ,
Revalon

:) YOUR FAMILY PROBABLY WILL GET OVER THEIR EPISODE QUICKER THAN YOU THINK. YOU NEED TO FOCUS ON YOURSLEF, AS THEY DO NEED YOU. SOMETIMES WHEN YOU GIVE LOVE TO OTHERS, THERE IS AN HINDRANCE TO OUR FAITH, A BATTLE OF WHY EVEN BOTHER. SOWING LOVE AND KINDNESS, INTO OTHERS, WILL COME BACK TO YOU. YOU WILL BE LOVED BY YOUR FAMILLY. STAND ON THIS WORD, FOR IT WILL HAPPEN. THE SEEDS YOU SOWN HERE ARE A HARVEST THAT YOU WILL REAP. BE PATIENT WITH THEM, AND HAVE TRUST, PEACE , AND REST. REMEMBER YOU ARE HIS BELOVED, GOD'S OWN DAUGHTER, AND HE HAS A PLAN FOR YOU, A GOOD ONE. DON'T STIFE WITH THEM. BE PATIENT, I KNOW YOU HAVE THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, BE PATIENT SHIRLEY IS ONE OF THEM. SOMETIMES WERE NEVER COMPLETE, LIKE THERE'S THAT ONE THING WE HAVE NOT CONTROL OVER. FOCUS ON THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT. YOUR BEAUTIFUL, AND NOT ALONE. OPEN YOUR BIBLE AND LEAVE IT BY YOUR BED, LET THE WORDS OF JESUS COMFORT YOU FROM JOHN 17.. HE SAID YOU ARE NOT ALONE, HE IS WITH YOU, AND IS PRAYING FOR YOU TO THE FATHER. IT'S THE PAST THAT IS PRESSING YOU INTO A DARK PLACE. FATHER IN JESUS NAME. THERE IS NO WEAPON , THAT CAN CONQUER YOUR PRESENCE NO DARKNESS SO DARK, THAT YOUR LOVE CAN NOT BE SEEN. WHEN THE ENEMEY COMES IN LIKE A FLOOD, OF DARKNESS, DEPRESSION, DISCOURAGMENT, AND LONLINESS, THE LORD GOD HIMSELF WILL PUT UP A STANDARD, TO STOP, THESE WATERS. JESUS SPEAK PEACE, INTO SHIRLEY, AND COMMAND THE STORM AND THE WINDS TO GO AWAY FROM HER HOME, AND LIFE. LET HER STAND WITH ASSURANCE AND CONFIDANCE THAT YOU WILL BRING HER THROUGH EACH DAY FOR YOU LOVE HER. LET YOUR HEALING HANDS COVER HER MIND WITH PEACE, AND GIVE HER REST FROM THE TURMOIL, FOR REST IS HER PORTION, LORD YOU SHED YOUR BLOOD AS AN ATONEMENT FOR HER LIFE, AND RESTORATION. HEALING IS HER BREAD YOU SAID IF WE ASK YOU FATHER FOR BREAD YOU WILL NOT GIVE US A ROCK. HOLY SPIRIT HELP SHIRLEY, HER HUSBAND, AND DAUGHTER BREAK THE BONDAGES IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

FATHER ACCORDING TO LUKE 10: 19 LET THE SUICIDAL SPIRIT LEAVE FROM HER FAMILY AND DAUGTER IN JESUS NAME. LET IT BE CURSED AT THE VERY ROOT AND SEED, TO DRY AND BE NOTHING POWERLESS OVER HER FAMILY. FOR NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US SHALL PROSPER, NO TONGUE SHALL PREVAIL. YOU HAVE GIVEN US AUTHORITY OVER THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS, IN JESUS NAME LET YOU BLOOD BE APPLIED OVER THEM AS THE BLOOD WAS APPLIED OVER THE DOOR POSTS DURING THE PASSOVER. HOLY SPIRIT BRING YOUR WORDS UNTO HER SPIRIT TO REMEMBER WHAT YOU SAID. YOU WILL NEVER LEAVE HER NOR FORSAKE HER. HOLY SPIRIT GIVE HER STRENGTH TO GO THROUGH THIS, LET HER BE STRONG AGAINST THE WILES OF THE FIERY DARTS FROM HELL. LET HER SHIELD OF FAITH QUENCH THE MEMORIES OF THE PAST, AND FEAR. RESIST THE DEVIL, AND HE WILL GO FROM YOU. KEEP THE WORD IN YOUR HEART FOR IT IS YOUR STRENGHT AND AS YOU TALK TO THE FATHER ALL ABOUT THIS, GROW STRONGER IN FAITH. THE LORD WANTS HEALING TO COME TO YOU, HOLY SPIRIT BE HER COUNSELOR, COMFORTER, HELP HER HOLY SPIRIT IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.

Ps 18:2 The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, [and] my high tower.

Standing with you, fighting for you and calling spiritual things in the heavenlies that are not as though they were. And quickening the dead to life. Blessed be.

Keeping you in prayer Shirley.

God Bless you and may Jesus be with you.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
( Matthew 28:20 )

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
( Psalm 145:18-19 )

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
( John 14:18 )

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
( Hebrews 13:5 )

Shirley,
I don't know you but I know depression. I want you to know that you are not alone. My thoughts are with you. You are important to me. I have seen your name on different posts here and your comments have been appreciated by me. I want the best for you in Christ Jesus. He will give you strength to make it through this tough time. I know He will. You know He will. Try to remember how important you are to all of us here. There is always something more God wants us to learn. If we can just step back for a moment and let Him guide us we will have some peace and He will be able to work in our lives. Sometimes our suffering brings others closer to God. We just need faith.

May the Holy Spirit give your mind and heart rest. May He ease your pain. May God the Father show you His love. May Jesus words provide comfort for you. In Jesus Name, Amen.

As a daughter who has tried suicide on several occassions i KNOW no one would try to end their life just because they cant have their way. Maybe you should sit down and talk with her? After all, you are her mother.. no matter if she doesnt want to hear you (keep God in the mist) you can be sure that she listens.
Im sorry to hear that you and your husband are having complications, but give your worries to God- he wants you too. He's upset when you try to handle things yourself instead of giving your everything (good &bad) to Him. <3
I dont know if this will sound cheesy- but you're loved <3 Maybe that's something you need to hear. With the chaos you're going through you can always find peace in He who give you strength!

You're in my prayers <3
God Bless!

Shirley,
When my dad was dying the Lord spoke to me. It was so hard to sit there knowing that I had so muc to say yet I had no words. I couldn't really help
him. The Lord brought the old story in acts where the people are begging Peter. He tells them he doesn't have money but to use and walk. He offers them real life. Despite understanding a lot of what you're feeling, I have no words, but that the God o the universe who formed you in your mothers womb will see you through. Sometimes we need our friends to have fighting faith for us. My faith will fight for you in this, so that yours can fight for me in another circumstances.
