I don't know if anyone here knows this, but I have been out of work for about 2 months now. Although I've been looking, there just haven't been any jobs in my area. I think that might be changing soon but I'm not sure. I was only able to get temporary jobs thru temp agencies, but that hasn't kept my head above water.

Also, I wanted to go back to school & continue wiht my education. That too is looking like it's not going to happen either. Today I had a job interview with a security company as a security guard. It will only be for a couple of months but at least it will be 40 hours per week. I also saw an ad for a truck driver out of Vancouver, WA. The drivers will be out on the trip for about 4 or 5 days and home for about 3.
That will pay much better.

All my savings are gone and my bills are piling up. Can somebody please pray that I get thru this and get a steady job soon? I am to the point where I feel that my prayers are not being answered. I know they are, but I don't know how much more of this stress I can take. Almost all my strength and stamina are gone and the power, phone, cell phone and TV are going to be shut off real soon if I can't get any money to pay my bills.

I will pray for you, Terry. My husband was out of work for about 2 months, and the Lord blessed him with a job two weeks ago.

Dear Lord,
Thank you, Lord, that you are always with us, always caring for us, always watching out for us. I lift Terry up to you and ask that you provide for his needs. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Great Provider, and I ask that you provide a job for him. In the meantime, please bring to him whatever finances he needs to take care of his bills. I also pray for peace while he is waiting for Your answers. Thank you in advance for your answer, Lord.

terry- i have prayed for you and i know the Lord is still there! my husband has a college degree (engineer) and great work record but he was laid off a few years back and it took over two years for him to find a job, so we know how hard it can be! if you need to talk, please feel free to message me. also- if you get work and can, please let me know. hello whiteknight,i will be praing for you also brother because believe i know howit is.ive been out of work for about one year ive had odd jobs in between also,i have been staying with my brother for the last two 1/2 months,and a good brother in christ before that and now my brother is jobless and we have been without electricity for the last two weeks and know gas.and so brother i know but i will pray for you and i hope every onethats reading will pray for ach other and i know GOD is faithful and he will provide

Thank you all sooooo much. I can't find the words to say how much I appreciate all your prayers. If The applications I submitted these past weeks get me an interview, then I'll feel like some progerss is being made. I will keep you all apprised of my situation.

Father in Heaven, Thank you for blessing me, and other brothers and sisters in need with our compassion for each other. Even though I know that you will NEVER, EVER forsake us; I still often get so wrapped up in my own problems that my mind forgets the promises you've made and keep to be with us always.
It is impossible for my limited mind to even imagine how much you love all of your childeren here in this world.
We all know you have a plan for each and every one of us. Which will be made clear to us in your own time.
Please forgive my forgetting how much you love us all as I try to move on thru this life by doing things my way.

I wanted to let all of you know that your prayers are helping me. I got some job prospects since my last message here. With the Lord's help, on e of them will pan out into a permanant, well paying job. Thank you all again for your prayers.

Hi Terry, Its Mandy here. Im happy you feel abit better. Somtimes things do happen for the better, I too come on here for encourgement, and it helps alot. Its nice that people have faith to get by. Let me know how you are keeping. Love Mandy x

I had applied for a job weeks and weeks ago, and pretty much gave up on the prospect of getting it They just called today and hired me! I hope that encourages you that even if you have to wait, God will bring something to you.

Terry I know what you are going through as I have been unemployed for nearly a year. It hasn't been good for my sel esteem. But God has kept me thus far and I know that He will keep you also.So brother wait on the Lord for you will walk into the job that He has planned for you. God bless.

hello Iam out of work too since end of February but don't give up your hope pray and read the bible daily. By the Lord is everything possible and the Lord knows what we get and want.

Hello Everyone. I wanted to let you all know that, after much prayer & meditation; I will be going back into the transportation industry. (Truck Driving) I honestly believe that is what the Lord wants me to be doing. All I need to do is get the background check done, get fingerprinted, which is part of the process for the background check, and then get my Hazardous Materials endorsement on my CDL again.

I have to say; I feel much, much better now that most of the stress of being out of work is almost behind me.

I felt I had to Lynn. After all of the Kind words I've gotten I would have been very selfish if no update was given and all of you would've been wondering what happened and why am I not here very much anymore. My concience wouldn't have let me just disappear.

And I should have. I hope The Lord will forgive me for that. Even though I try to remember to give thanks for my blessings, even in these tough times I don't always do that. But I'm only human after all. :eek:

I will, Karen. What kind of work does your daughter do? And what is she studying for? I wanted to go back to school for an electronics degree, but it looks like God would rather I didn't continue with my education. But I know he has better things planned for me.
