I need prayer because lately every Friday when I don't have college, I fall back into my porn addiction. I know I can't do this myself. But people saying to stop it has not helped and having accountability with my mom, caused my flesh to scream out. Also don't forget to pray for Asia Bibi, a persecuted Christian in Pakistan that could face the death sentence for her supposed breaking of the blasphemy law. Sign the petition at http://www.callformercy.com. Pakistan knows about it and has more signatures, let us get in there and get more signatures from the U.S. to show that we care about this. God bless and have a beautiful and God-glorifying day.

Hello 'willfollowsgod' always turn to God even if you feel ashamed. My suggestion is you need to get together with others when you know that you don't have classes and loneliness will creep in. Get in the Word and meditate on it- take the time to memorize verses and try to keep a journal. If you fall into temptation, don't let a second go by without asking God for forgiveness- don't allow the enemy to bombard you with guilt and shame. I will pray for you.

I heard the spirit tell me, "If a girl came and sat on your lap, seduced you, would you lay with her? if you did would you think it was an accident caused by your instincts?". We must be cleansed and we can't do it alone bro. The farther we are from a constant communication and communion with God the harder it will be, telling you from experience. God is patient, slow to anger, and ready to forgive and cleanse us, that is our hope.

Brother, I hear what you are going through. I am still struggling with my addiction to porn. the people on this site have helped me greatly. I am working on starving the dragon that is that obsession. I have a fiacnee and she has a daughter. I have told them that I was struggling with it and she gave me a choice..either stop the porn or we are done. Every time I am tempted, I remember that choice. Do I really want to throw away the best thing that God has given me? No, I don't. I am praying for you brother and if you ever need anything at all, get ahold of me on here or ask for my yahoo account. Blessings on you and your life and the people that you reach out to and influence. If the Bible is a weapon, then I want you to know that I win.

This is a song that i use to remind myself not to look at that smut on the internet.

Be careful little eyes what you see.
It's the second glance that ties your hands as darkness pulls the strings.
Be careful little feet where you go.
For it's the little feet behind you that are sure to follow.

It's a slow fade when you give yourself away.
It's a slow fade when black and white are turned to gray.
Thoughts invade, choices are made.
A price will be paid when you give yourself away.
People never crumble in a day.
It's a slow fade.
It's a slow fade.

Be careful little ears what you hear.
When flattery leads to compromise, the end is always near.
Be careful little lips what you say.
For empty words and promises lead broken hearts astray.

It's a slow fade when you give yourself away.
It's a slow fade when black and white are turned to gray.
Thoughts invade, choices are made.
A price will be paid when you give yourself away.
People never crumble in a day.
It's a slow fade.
It's a slow fade.

The journey from your mind to your hands
Is shorter than you're thinking.
Be careful if you think you stand
You just might be sinking.

It's a slow fade when you give yourself away.
It's a slow fade when black and white are turned to gray.
Thoughts invade, choices are made.
A price will be paid when you give yourself away.
People never crumble in a day.
Daddies never crumble in a day.
Families never crumble in a day.

Prayers and Peace be with your through our Lord Jesus Christ, to Him be the glory.

your brother,
Nate

Brother, we can only be free from all sin when we choose to give ourselves to God and acknowledge that we are free from all sin. God has given you a sound mind free from sin, whenever any thought of sin comes, just rebuke it in Jesus' name because He has given you that power. Whenever you are tempted just confess and proclaim that you are free from sin and you have been made pure in Him. Also read the word and let it be the focus of your thoughts! God bless you

While prayer is vitally important in treating Christian pornography addiction, it's not the only thing we need to do to break free. According to experts who specialize in Christian pornography addiction, many addicts feel hurt, anger, or depression because God hasn't "pressed the magic button" that would instantly set them free. The truth is that God does want to partner with you in breaking free. He does ask each of us to look deeply at the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual roots of this problem. Just as this issue didn't begin from just a spiritual frame-many have been sexual abused and/or emotionally neglected-it isn't "solved" in a solely spiritual manner either.

There are three key components to recovery from Christian pornography addiction:

Counseling with an educated, well-trained therapist;
Recovery Literature to help you "retrain the brain;" and
Support from others who are struggling with the same issue.

God bless you.. I think it is wonderful that you have the courage to come forward with your addiction and face it honestly. My husband struggled with his addiction to pornography and is very vocal about this to his friends and colleagues. By "outing' himself and trying to direct other young men, he has been very successful in battling this demon. He has to avoid, and even speak out against the typical guy talk that contributes to this addiciton. He is so aware of his "triggers" that he has deleted certain channels from our tv- like MTV- because of the content of videos, etc. In this world this is a very hard addiction for men- due to societal influences. You are being bombarded daily by images that will bring up those desires in you physically, even though your heart and your mind really wants to change. In order to be successful you may need to limit your computer use, for instance, doing your homework at your college computer lab rather that at home where you may have the impulse to surf the net.. which might trigger something. My husband found a very good book, reccommended by his chaplain, that helped him immensely... it is called "Every Man's Battle". They also had a version for women, called "Every Woman's Battle" which I have read, even though this is not the demon that I personally struggle with, I did find it helpful to our relationship. Good luck to you! I am proud of you for trying to make this change and will pray for you!

I agree with ElizaBeth. I have read "Every Man's Battle" and it has helped me tremendously in my walk with Christ and avoiding temptation.
