I had to fill in for a waitress at work today. Normally I make at least $60 on Friday lunch run. Today I made $18. I've been complaining all day and I shouldn't. At least I was able to wake up this morning SOBER and make some money. Please help me pray that I learn to be more thankful:)

"willnotgiveup", look at it this way. At least you made the $18!! Working a job is'nt about how much money you make, it's about doing something and giving it your best. It's about serving others (and thereby serving God) the best way you can. While making and having money is nice, it should not ever be your #1 priority!! Keep hangin' in there because you are making amazing progress!! :)

With all due respect to ladybug, I'm sorry to disagree, but sober and an $18 shift doesn't put a roof over your head or food in your mouth. C'mon, she spent a day serving food to others without making enough to even eat some of her own. I'm sorry wantsto, but you're part of the slave-labor entrapment of these ending times. And I'm not sure how you're going to overcome that. Sobriety would definitely go a long way toward that end. But this world and it's rulers are out to strangle mankind in general and Christians in particular. A quart of wheat for a day's wages, right? You need to have your mind, spirit, and heart sober towards God, because the days are coming when you'll wish you could get an $18 shift. That oughta sober any one up.

Father God, I come before You, grateful that I may by the Blood of Your Son. Usually I do so Lord joyfully, but today I am angry. I am angry at this world, I am angry at these people, I am really angry at their rulers, and I pray Your vengeance on them all. How many of us call from under the Altar, Lord, may the time be done..? And yet Your word to us is to gird up in You armor, and persevere to overcome. Father, wantsto seeks You in faith... confessing her ungratefulness for even this portion... by her faith and confession may her portions be increased manyfold. Pour out Your Spirit over her, and gift her with those things she needs to persevere and overcome these times. Bring her sustenance and shelter, provisions You promise Your children should they seek You. Well, she seeks You, and I give a second witness to her prayers, that by two or more in the Name of Jesus it will be so. Surround her Lord with angels, to bear her up and occupy the enemy. As she gives to others may the Spirit lead others to be generous in return. Father I lay this all before you, less angry and more joyful, knowing that Your anger trumps even mine, and that You already have smitten our oppressors. May Your will then be done, here on earth as it has been in heaven. Amen.
