Hello everybody, my life so far is being pressured and I feel so depressed at times. This whole time I was curious about satanism and the devils music and I tend to listen to it from time to time. I know that the lord is frowning upon me but I keep doing it repeatedly . I know I should really stop this because it's dragging me down in life. I want to mend a relationship with God and worship him...

Please pray that things will be successful for me people please!

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the work you are doing already in this young brother's life. We know that if we draw close to you, you will draw close to us. Encourage Josh as he strives to draw closer to you by drawing Yourself closer to him. Guide him into godly fellowship, and away from the negative influences in his life. Where the things in his life are dragging him down, Lord, I pray that you lift him up. Direct his path, and just shower him with Your love, a love that is so incredible that you would send your Son to die for us. Let us live our lives in light of that sacrifice--loving you in return as best we can. Bless Josh and encourage him. In Jesus' holy name I pray, Amen.

you know what you should pray for, pray for wisdom. i realy wish i could remember the bible verse that says this but god promiese that when people pray for that he will answer it 100% of the time and in full. i put this to the test and man! he ant kidding. it gave me a whole new look on god and his ways. pray for wisdom and i garantee you your battel will be half won.

PS I'll pray for you too. i know how it's like to be trapped in a sin that you dont want to be in

Could the passage you're thinking of be James 1:5-8?

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do."

Yeah, in addition to what everyone else has said, the bible says draw nearer to God and he will draw nearer to you. I will be praying
