from being gay to moving into the light

Hey.

I have lived in sin for about two years. In South african thete is a certain stigma about being a man and not being one and since i alway moved away and because the normal "manly" things people around me told me well...dude ur gay u have to be..
So i lived that lie coz it didnt let any one ask any questions....
All though i had had a few guys over to chat to luckly i never took the big step...why well coz i was never comfortable.....so i went to chat to the priest and he talked to me....

Thats when i asked and started to pray about that....all though i struggle still i try hard very hard to walk the straight and narrow line...put i need prayer because at each nook and cranny the devil takes out the "card" hey ur gay thats you are so unhappy....

As u could see i also was diagnosed with severe depression..and well i got overthat with my faith but still know and then..i fall


please pray with me!!!

You can do it!Be strong and courageous,don,t let anyone label you accept the Lord,you are his child now.You can overcome!Lord take away this depression and replace it with joy,in Jesus name amen

I dunno where in SA you live, but I'm in Cape Town, and I can tell you that homosexuality is one thing plaguing people here. Most of my friends are bisexual or gay. It's very sad, because it leads to their rejecting God. I'm glad that you at least know it's not God's plan for homosexuality to be. God intended man and woman to be together, and I can say all my gay or bisexual friends have tons of drama and are always unhappy in their 'relationships'. You're being wise to abstain, and if you're not comfortable with it, it's not for you. I think we need to stand together, as South Africans, and pray against this homosexual spirit that has taken over our people. And being at uni in Stellenbosch, surrounded by 'boere-seuns' I know what you mean about the manly thing. But don't give up..! With God's help you can do anything. And it's ok if you fall into your depression every now and then. I've been diagnosed with anxiety, and I fall into it sometimes too.

Holy God I ask that my brother find completeness and wholeness in you. Jesus make yourself real to him so he hungers for you instead of the things of this world. Jesus let him experience a new awareness of you so that he will know you are the real thing! Let him know there is only joy in you and only satisfaction in serving you. We thank you for his desire to serve you and to be obedient to you and we ask you to increase that desire so that he will lead many to your son through his testimony! Amen.

Firstly, Jesus forgives sins. Plain as that. So when you call out to Jesus for help to be delivered, as you have seen your need of deliverance (which is the work of the Lord), now Jesus says, YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN YOU!!

So Satan cannot hold ANYTHING AGAINST YOU!!

Now, how do we keep from falling back from that promise that he has forgiven you? FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST!!! Seek him, and pray and ask for help and guidance. Read in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, to see his ministry, and ask him to reveal himself to you, and to make you see and understand!!

Jesus will teach you how to be like him, and he will overcome sin in you body, so that you will not only not desire to sin, but so that you will not sin!!

It is Jesus who can do this for you, if you try by yourself, or by a priest, or by any other source, you will fall. But Jesus Christ will deliver you from sin, as he promises. He will make you FREE from the bondage of sin.

Don't let anyone encourage you with false hope that you have to be gay as it is your nature!! NO!! That is the nature of the Devil, who wants you to fall like he fell. He doesn't want you to be free, because he knows that that means he has no control over you, and all he wants to do is destroy you and kill you and rob you of the peace that Jesus brings.

Don't let anyone encourage the sin, but let Jesus cleanse you of it, and then you will be a living testimony of the goodness of God. You will see Jesus Christ as Savior, because he will save you from your sins!!
