Furious!!!

Everyone at my work place has been having a suspicion that our hours are being cut, and forged to save the store money...

Tonight I was working and my manager offered to show me how many hours I have worked for the week... When he did so we realized that 1/05/14 was missing from the computer... It said I did not work that day (yesterday)...

I work every day, holidays and Sundays... I get called in, every day I don't work; and work overtime every day I do...

I have been doing jobs that I should be assistant manager to do... But none of the assistant managers are willing to do them... Or know how to do them... So they ask me to do them; yet, others are in line for promotion before me, when they are as clueless as the ones who are already there...

My 112 hour check for 2 weeks feels extremely short given I have not had a day off since the 9th if memory servers correctly... My shortest shift has been today which was 3 hours... My longest reach into 13... When I am scheduled 6 hours shifts... 3-4 days a weeks and am suppose to be off for 3-4 days a week...

We have a manager who I have only seen 3 days out of the past 2 weeks, who makes 10 dollars an hour and got $1,000... This check... While we get a manager who works more hours then me, as constantly as me... Get paid 600 including his overtime... And makes the same $10 per hour...

Managers can get into the system and change all hours, hence how I found out today that yesterdays was missing...


I need a serious prayer to calm my heart... I am beyond mad that; I bust my back for this stupid company get paid minimum wage when I am doing everyone else's job... And they take away my hard earned hours...

I don't want to confront the GM with such furry in me... I am inches away from auditing this store... And to be honest not so many more inches away from getting violent with the manager who works 3 days and gets $1,000 dollars...

I am not just saying all of this out of thin air... I work more hours then anyone else in the store besides that 1 manager... I know everything in the store besides the manager computer... I am the one they call everyday because some person decided not to come in, or because the crew they have can not keep up with the amount of work they have...

It makes me mad they would do this too someone who has been busting serious butt...

the store is only allowed X amount of overtime; so if I make 15 hours overtime and the store is allowed 60, then the rest of the employee's are left with 45 hours to fight for... I should be on 37 hours for this pay week, and tomorrow should be my overtime hours... But someone cut me down to 22 hours for the week... I am furious!!!

Awww T, Im so sorry.
I understand the anger and frustration your feeling.
Just dont let it rule your heart and actions, as doing so can rob you faster than any unfairness at work.
Please do try to forgive in Jesus, for by doing so it gives Jesus's peace the oppertunity to work in you, and bring the wisdom in how to help you and your coworkers.

Do all things as unto the Lord,has been my help in times like this, and has always brought all needed.
Remember, we in Jesus, though we still walk in the world, are no longer of the world.

Ill be praying for you, your fellow employees, and your work in Jesus's name.

I read from Purpose Driven life and in doing so it gave me great calmness... Your post added onto that, greatly...

I have a much different perspective now that I am calm(er)... I am still angered, but not in the same sense...
