I have lost something valuable. Really valuable. I feel like a complete and utter failure for having misplaced it. If you can spare a moment, I would appreciate your prayers that I can find this thing. If I can find it, I promise I will give most of it away. Losing it has been perhaps the biggest failure of my life. It's shaken my confidence quite a bit. Please help me.

Lord please show Surfer where this thing is that he has misplaced. Like you showed me where my missing item was when I couldn't find it and was in a great hurry, the picture of where it was suddenly popped into my mind. Do the same for him. Let him find it quickly, in Jesus name.

btw Surfer, if a picture of where it is does pop into your mind or a word comes forth, go with it. When the picture first popped into my mind I dismissed it thinking "oh no it won't be there. I have already quickly searched that spot and saw nothing. Little did I know it was there but well hidden under a few papers that I skimmed over. The Lord knows all, including where this thing is.

Thank you, Ruby. One day, when we're in heaven, and this situation I'm in is no longer such a big deal, I'll tell you about how I go into this mess. I suspect you'll get a laugh out of it. :)

He has been very consistent in helping me find things, John Wimber also shared how people would come to him and the Lord would give him insight to share on where to look. Usually pictures with me, and then other times He will direct my path, the last time He directed my hand as I was looking in the place, actually directed my hand to the spot where it was secluded. Staying in prayer in the personal divine prayer language is the best way I know to enjoy his intervention in this and all areas of life.

THANK YOU, GOD! THANK YOU ALL! We found it. And I am SO relieved. Restoration of value is nice, but what's really great is just the peace of mind.

Here's a couple lessons I really, really hope that I've learned well. So I'll share this wisdom:

1. If you really need something done properly, then probably do it yourself, or at least be involved. Don't delegate anything that could cause damage to a relationship if it was messed up. My marriage wasn't in danger because of this, but it certainly could have been
stressful.
2. If it's important then take the time to do it right. Don't do a "good enough" job because you're allowing yourself to be rushed. If it's important, then other things can wait. Even those things that might normally be important, if you've got something MORE important, then prioritize it!
3. Sometimes it pays to take another into confidence. Not sure we would have been successful without my new daughter-in-law. We are sooooo blessed to have her!

Thank you all again for your intercession on my behalf. This has been 6 years of mental anguish - relieved in a moment!

Your gratitude post began with "thank you God!" So very perfect, giving him first place in this, He truly delights in giving us the desires of our heart, if we will but serve him, and it sounds like he made use of a wonderful daughter in law to complete the blessing.
Thank you so much for sharing, and thank you Jesus!
