Please pray for my marriage. My husband cheated on me, and we are working on our marriage, we are doing quite well. I feel like I have forgiven my husband, but need to remind myself constantly. To help this marriage move forward I need total forgiveness in my heart, I need to forget this past and move into the future with Gods love. Please pray for my mind to be peaceful, pray for the demons to stop circling my marriage, and my mind. Thank you.

Elizabeth, let me just say that it sounds like you are doing great. Don't be too hard on yourself! A lot of what you are feeling is probably not unforgiveness so much as pain, and pain will ease in time. Are you in counseling? I'm praying for the Lord to ease your way, and that he would bless you both for your efforts.

Lord, I praise you for the work you have done in Elizabeth's marriage. Thank you for your faithfulness to both of these people, and your mercy in giving them strength to work on their marriage. Lord, you know that Elizabeth is hurting and trying hard to recover. I pray that you would just place your hand over her and give her peace and love for her husband. Make her memory of the things that happened grow distant and foggy, so that she can concentrate on the now, and the future. Bless them God, for their fight to stay together. Amen.

Thank you Grace! No we are not in counselling, I was blessed with being completely saved about a month ago, and my husband has sought out God at my request, he isn't 'there' yet, but well on his way. He is happy to do anything he can, to save our marriage, and has been very willing, we have come so far. I need to have 'soft words' and more understanding for my husband, I just need to demons to stop trying to sabotage me with all the negative thoughts.

I hope that you'll consider Christian counseling to help you both recover from the adultery. A counselor would give you "homework" to do together that would strengthen your relationship and help you understand one another better. He/she would also meet with you each separately to help you cope with your grief, discouragement, or any other feelings you might be struggling with. I'm glad that your husband is trying hard too. :)

Forgive and forget maybe one of the hardest action but when 2 persons sincerely seek God's hand to work together, it is a possible action.

Let this relationship reborn in HIS hand for your hubby was the one chosen by God to be yours Mr. Right, believe in HIM and importantly trust your Hubby that he will be changed by God.

Will pray for your marriage and believe in Hope Faith and Love...let go of any Doubtfulness and other bad elements which not meant to be in your marriage.

God blessed you and your hubby!

Setting you and your husband before God for all healing and a renewed marraige with praise and thanksgiving.

Sometimes renewing your vows can be very healing. :)

Yes Pickles! It's what I want, our marriage vows renewed! It would heal me, to have those vows promised again, I have asked my husband, and left him to ponder the thought.

Elizabeth, What a great thing you are doing, working on forgiving your husband, for the sake of your marriage. I will pray for comfort for the pain you have felt, and are still feeling. When you start to feel and think all those negative things, just remember, it is an evil force that wants you to go there. God's voice reassures, enlightens, encourages, comforts and calms you. Those other feelings, the pain and fear and negativity are not from God. Feel strong and don't give in to them. Remember to whom you belong. Stay strong! You have my prayers for this.

When both your actions and thoughts are of God, you cant go wrong... God will be there to give you strength to carry through whatever may be the reason for your struggles. When your mentality is being one team, with God as the catalyst holding you both together like glue, just as Jesus holds the bond between us and God, then you will see a manifestation of a healthy positive relationship. It sounds like you are on a path to recovery. I will pray for you. I know that God has already done His part by giving you the tools, but its up to you two to work those tools and it starts with believing you can do it.

Elizabeth78, I understand your feelings. I've been there. ITS HARD But It does get better in your mind. However, it Does take Time. It takes time.....At one point I found a passion/dream in my heart and I started putting allot of time into that and that got my mind off of the ugly thoughts. I dont think you ever forget but when you do remember it doesnt really hurt that much after time. Hope that helps.. Please treat yourself Good! You are a beautiful Lady!
Lord I lift up Elizabeth Please God heal her heart and fill her mind with things that bring her joy. Block out any visuals that the devil may want to use. Lord everytime she hears the name of the other woman Please God may that name Not bother her. In Jesus Name

Father in Heaven,

I pray for Elizabeth in Jesus name. You have experienced the pains of an unfaithful bride, Lord. It has been this way from the beginning to now although we made the commitment to Jesus Christ. God, you have abundant grace that forgave, forgive and will forgive us through earnest repentance. I pray that your supernatural grace enter Elizabeth's heart so that she may completely be rid of the bitterness that still threaten her marriage. She is willing, but hurt and fear continue to be a stronghold in the road to restoration. Only you Father can pour the healing their hearts plead for. Holy Spirit bring comfort, perseverance, faithfulness, abounding love, forgiveness and strength to their renewed commitment to each other. Let their marriage mirror the the overwhelming love described in the Song of songs. Let them be lovesick for each other, let them yearn for each other and let them find each other lovely. You are capable, Lord. In this exciting rediscovery of one another, turn their hearts to the Son even deeper. Allow his mercy, faith and love beacons them for the rest of their lives. Bring restoration in Jesus name, Amen.

Its hard forgetting, but it's less and less everyday with each prayer, I've had some bad days, when blocking the demons seems impossible, I just prayer harder. I need to love The Lord more, to find love for my husband, I think I'm lacking it. I'm still feeling the hurt of betrayal

Elizabeth-(which is my fav name in the world, I have a 21 yr old named Elizabeth) I have been where you are. How I prayed to save my marriage which didn't happen, but my heart is full of hope for yours. I have prayed that God will remove everything in your heart, soul, and life, and replace it with love, peace, forgiveness and hope for your future together. You have made the choice to forgive, and I have prayed that God will surround you with all you need to do so. I have prayed that your husband does whatever you need, for as long as you need it, to help rebuild your marriage. God is love, forgiveness and He makes everything new. I believe in forgiveness and second chances. To see a marriage blessed with this is wonderful. Stay strong!

Thank you so much Water1944, I really do try and stop the negative thoughts creeping in, and I really want a chance to make this marriage work. My next step is 'being in love' with my husband and not just feeling years of history, of loving him. What happened in your marriage (if you don't mind me asking) I find it helpful receiving knowledge from people who have 'been there' I receive so much comfort from our Lord.........but Some times it's good to hear it from someone in the flesh.

I pray the Lord brings, when everything seems impossible, his peace that is beyond all understanding. That he gives you the strength not to give way to bitter sniping or scoring points and that he protect this marriage from outside influences.

I pray that God restores your marriage fully and Yeah, let it go and forgive. Many things happen to Christians but in all these trials and temptations we have to pass them like Jesus did and he helps us. Jesus deals with the heart and just let your heart to be clean about your husband.

Lord you said in your word, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
We pray in agreement and we bind and lose by the authority you have given us.
A clean and repentant heart to our brother. A restored family and a faithful servant of God to be born out of this brother. Total forgiveness in the heart of our sister and the power of the Lord to help her move forward. ,...Other visions,...
We pray that you break every power and demonic princes fighting our sister and her family. Deliver her husband and her family from everything that is not of you. We break every chain that the devil uses to separate these Christians in the name of Jesus Christ. We decree and declare restoration of family and love and peace back into their home. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Be expectant, have faith. Faith is the evidence of things unseen. You've not seen it yet but claim it. God will run to fulfill your visions and expect something greater - increase your level of xpectation. I've seen many miracles in prayer of faith. I have a testimony of a cyst disappearing in my hands as I put in faith with authority by declaring and decreeing the cyst to leave, wow, what a God we serve. Come back with your testimony. Bye!
