Hi all

I am ashamed to say that I struggle with resisting temptation to sinful lust, I try, but regularly fail. Please pray that the good lord will give me the strength to escape from the sinners in my life and conquer this terrible affliction to help me become a better person to my loved ones and live my life under the guidance of god to whom I love very much

Thank you x

Hay my brother, you just took the first step out. I'll be in prayer, but you can't expect God to deliver you from what you keep seeking. So as our Lord told Joshua to be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to His word and do not turn from it one way or the other, so that you may have success wherever you go and what ever you do (or don't do). Check out the first chapter of Joshua. I'll be in prayer with ya my brother.

We are saved by grace through faith,
I pray you receive the faith and grace to know who you are in Christ.
In Jesus Name, Amen

Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--

I just got up the courage to admit the same kind of sin. I'm sorry to hear bro, I'll pray for you. I do not know how to escape it, but I know who does.

We are all weak by ourselves. My best advice is to be honest with God, tell Him exactly what the problem is, and don't tell Him "I'll stop." It is better not to promise than to break a promise. Instead, ask to be filled with The Holy Spirit, and to be given power to resist the flesh.

Also, if you know a person to whom you can be accountable, that can help keep you on the straight and narrow. -JIM

Hello.

I am a wife suffering from my husband's adultery due to pornography and lust. He did this 2 years ago, and when I found the evidence on my 54th birthday, he did answer yes, even if he did not confess before I found it.

We are now in church, and our church has an online link sarcastically titled, "How to Commit Adultery." Please don't be offended at the title, it is actually a good presentation on how to avoid LUST, as well as it's title, adultery.

I am not sure that I am supposed to post a direct link to the clip which is about 30 minutes, but I can tell you one of the most effective parts of the message is to stay FAR, FAR, away from the many places you have to stop between the best you that God wants, and the ugliness you are trying to avoid.

Crosby said it best. You have to quit seeking that which you need to stay away from.

Another thing is to remember, and I will pray with you is to stand on 2 Corinthians 10:5: "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

Father God, I come before you today, giving thanks for every good gift. I stand beside Martino in his request to you. Help him to cast down the tempting imaginings, and those ugly temptations. Father, keep him FAR from the line he should not cross. Carry him and give him strength to bring his thoughts into captivity to obey You, O Lord. In Jesus' name we agree in prayer, Amen.

Martino,

Cast down your imaginings, and those ugly temptations first, FAR from the line you should not cross, and it will be far easier to bring your thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ. When you allow yourself to continue to slide close to the fire, this makes a problem worse and harder to shut the door on and stop. Do not think the battle over with one victory, either. Fighting becomes easier, the more you battle.

Many Victories to you.

The Lord's peace be with you . The Lord knows our weakness . He is a loving and merciful Father. The Lord took onto himself the sins of the world. Forgive yourself and allow the Holy Spirit to work on you . Hang on to God's word in your moment of weakness . You are a conqueror thru Christ Jesus. Blessings :)

Job well done fellow brothers and sisters!
Love the man, hate the sin.

Martino,
I hope you have felt the Love of Jesus in this place!
Because it is far better than anything else this world has to offer!

Prayers continue...
In His Love, Shekaniah
