More prayer for grandpa

All of my old thread was lost due to the meltdown, but any of you who had been following it know the gist. He has been sick since Christmas eve, and has been shuttled back and forth between the hospital and the nursing home 4 times now.

Grandpa is now back in the hosptial and he has contracted the VERY serious kind of MERSA, which is a bacteria that most people have on their skin already.

The type that grandpa has is making him worse by the day, and the doctors are concerned that if it gets into his blood stream he could becoming septic, which would kill him most likely within a day or two.

Please, prayer warriors, keep this man in your prayers. He is 83 years old now, and is a very stubborn old man who has never been saved as far as I know. Many of us have tried, but I have no idea if any of us have ever gotten through to him.

This is difficult for my whole family, but for me especially, because i have always been very close with this grandfather.

My parents are leaving for a week on vacation in less than 8 hours, so if grandpa takes a even more serious turn for the worst while they're gone, i don't know what is going to happen.

Pray for everyone involved.

Little bit more info on Grandpa. He doesn't just have the serious case of MERSA. He also has a case of what they called double pnuemonia and a urinary tract infection. I havn't have any information in the last 24 hours, but last I knew he had been getting worse. Thank you all for your prayers.

Father, be with this grandpa and heal him of his illness. Guide the doctors in how to treat him. Especially don't let the sickness get into his blood. Be with the parents who are going on vacation. Keep everyone safe during this time. Amen.

Dear Sister, I am so sorry to hear about your Grandapa. I may have already written you. I also lost my account as Jesusfreakgary, so have adopted this new one.

The MRSA (mulri resistant staph oerllas) is oa form of staph infection that is resistant to most anit-baterials. They have to give Vancomyocin for it. You might call and assure that the doctor is doing this. It is not very rare. I quit working in hospitals about 6 years ago and it was happening a lot then.

I pray that your grandfather heals completely from this infection and all other ailments quickly and completely, comforts you and all who care for him in Jesus name, Amen
