Did the vet give you insulin to give the dog? I had a dog with diebetes and he had to get insulin. Anyway, I have read that a lot of our pets are getting these illnesses from the food that is sold in the grocery stores and pet stores. They are vitamin and nutrient difficient. You may look for better food on the internet that is natural and better made. Anyway, I hope your dog gets better. The disease is hard to deal with and it takes its toll on the animal after a while. Sorry about him getting sick.

i am so sorry to hear about payok! i am praying for him!! i had a dog that had diabeties and we had to check her blood everyday and give her insuline shots daily. has your vet told you to do this? please stay close to him at all times and let the vet know he is not doing well. it sounds like he needs to be a vet until his blood levels are okay. it is very serious. i hate to tell you but i do this only to help poor payok - but we loss our dear dog when she got very sick. but we also got through several bad times with the help of the LORD and our vet. make sure to pray of course and make sure to let the vet know how sick the dog still is. you and payok are in my prayers!!! GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!!!

Xsweetiipie72x.... first off I just want to say my heart goes out to you at hearing of the loss of your dog. I am truly sorry. I would have prayed for him had I read this forum when it was started, but I am now praying for you and your family, as I know pets can become like family...I lost my 17 year old cat last July and still miss her big time!!!

Nest, I want to share something that I recieved in an email very recently.....and this is NOT to say this had ANYTHING WHATSOEVER to do with your dog dieing....but when you mentioned liver failure......ok well here it is......

thats CRAZY!!! and no we don't use the swiffer wet jet but thats good to know consudering i work in a dyacare that occationally uses the swiffer wet jet!! thankyou so much for letting me know!! i can't believe that they would make a cleaning solution that close to antifreeze considering all the effects it could have... my dog was 10 years old not 9 like the post originally said my mistake... but we are getting a new husky in about 6 months or so!!! so woohoo lol.. the crazy fact is that the brother of my dog died when he was just over 2 because of a seizure disorder!! crazy huh? lol but it's better that he got put down because he was suffering... so all is well to an extent...<3
