my 87 year old great grandmother is in the ICU at this moment. about 2 weeks ago, she had to get open heart surgery. every day, i prayed that God wouldn't take her. He got her through it, a few days after she finally got home she fell 3 times. She was found by my 5 year old cousin, and she was rushed to the hospital. She'll be in the ICU for about 2 weeks and she isn't doing well. I've never seen someone so hurt looking. She was always so happy and joyful. When i went to go see her, she was hooked up to machines and she couldn't talk. She was a bit unconscious, she didn't recognize some of us. she talked funny, when she actually could talk. She can't even move, she's hurting so badly. Everyday i cry and pray and BEG God to actually take my great grandmother so she can be healthy in heaven, where she isn't hurting. She doesn't deserve one ounce of that pain. She's so strong. She watched 2 of her children die, both husbands, 13 grand kids, SEVERAL others as well. Yet she never failed to trust God. When i was 4, she taught me how to read a hymnal and pray every night. I'm 13, and i still remember that. She's such an amazing woman and i need her to be okay. PLEASE, pray for her and our family.
