My Struggle

Hi all I am new here to this forum. I would like to say God Bless to all my brothers and sisters here. Heres my story, kinda long so I will try to keep it as short as possible. In 2009 at this time I experienced a complete and total deliverance from some evil things that had plagued my life for many years. I was in this sin along time and it kept getting bigger. Then one day all the desire for it seemed to be lifted from me, I repented and found a new relationship with Jesus like i never had before. This is where it gets interesting. I was laying in bed one night and I felt God come over me. He basically told me to pray for anything i want and it would be given to me. It was kinda funny it was like a thoguht popped into my head or something. I prayed first for a car I had always wanted. A few months wnet by, and I noticed a rainbow outside the door where I worked. Then a little while later I had the car. Fast forward to this summer. I started praying heavily for an amount of money I needed to start my own business. AND I have been praying to be united with my biological father whom i have never met in 40 years. about a month ago I saw another rainbow. I keep getting "November" in my head over and over for the last several months. Not sure what that means just yet. Now for the capper. I felt my thoughts being invaded last night by Satan. He promised me my old lifestyle, fortune, protection and a family of friends if I would worship him. I rebuked him in the name of Jesus several times, then he went away. I find it interestin that Satan wpould make me an offer. I hear he does this to some people and does in fact give what he promises. But I was really wondering could it be that God has something really big planned for me? My pastor told me back when I was 15 that I would be a giant in the Kingdom of God. Could it be God has called me to something. I feel he has with me starting my own business but He still has yet to answer my prayer bout that. Anyways what are your takes on this. I feel I am about to witness another miracle in my life. Please pray for me.
I know this sounds crazy but I am telling you the complete truth.

Im not able to disern this for you at this time,:) But you are in my prayers in Jesus for all that is the will of God Our Father to be known.

When I hear of something like you have experienced I would encourage you to ask yourself these questions?

1. Did I check it against the Word of God?
2. Have I talked to a man or woman of God and sought advice?
3. Does the experience instill fear? (II Timothy 1:7)
4. Is fulfillment of the dream something that would glorify God?
5. Will it distract me from the call of God on my life? (and/or telling others about Jesus Christ)

Be honest with yourself when you answer these questions. God does sometime speak through dreams, but it will never go against the written word of God.

God does have a plan, and satan comes to kill steal and destroy. Remember satan is an imitator and will try to make his way seem as good as
God's. Stay in prayer and test the spirits. Ask God for wisdom and understanding.

James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

I agree,

also you have to remember as it says in

- Matthew 12:45 - "Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of the man is worse than the first. Thats how it will be in this wicked generation."

So it will not get better for you if you were to return to satans so called promises, it would get seven times worse, lets say if you were in fear at the time before you knew Christ, it would increase seven times. Satan is a liar, and a deciever with no remorse for who he kills or destroys, those people he gives riches to are slowing being destroyed, and they are unhappy, they are dying both physically and spiritually they are dead.

It feels like you are in a wilderness but you are being made to endure your are being shaped as pottery in the furnace, you are being strengthened as a soldier for Christ when you resist the devil.

I understand and know what your going through because I face temptation in my life too, the thing is, you have to understand is, when you recieved Christ you are bought with a price, I encourage you to keep going, keep running your race.

Fight for your soul

All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved Mark 13:13

You must realize that to be great in the Kingdom of God and to be First means you have to be a servant and slave here and I mean it is all about serving others not yourself. So want to be a big Christian, learn how to be the best servant. Read this in Matthew Chapter 20. Jesus said that he did not come to be served here but to serve and give his life as a ranson for many. All he ever did was heal the sick, help the poor, forgive, instruct others to love others, and then die innocently a horrible death in our place. And we as great Christians are called for the same. However, let me make this more simple. It is not about how much we sacrifice here it is simply about following Jesus doing what he wants you to do. As Ephesians 2:10 says for you, "And you are God's Masterpiece, Created in Christ Jesus, to do good works which God prepared in advance for you to do." So the answer is yes, God has a special purpose for you with something big but not the way the world or even you as a human may view it. However, when you follow Jesus in life ONLY then are you filling your purpose God created you for. Anything else will not bring you joy, peace, and right living. So what are you going to trade for joy, peace, and right living? For me, NOTHING is worth it.

dear shannan i some what had this happen to me i was living in sin for so long i one day went to a church i was invited to i was praying like no other time i can remember and the paster called for some people to come and get pray being it was my 1st time there i had stay at my seat and prayed to my self one of the pasters that was there had spotted me came from the stage and walk right over to me and place his hand on my head and prayed over me that day i felt the holy spiret rush my body it was a feeling i never had befor from that day on i was having what i thought was day dreams were i was shown i was getting married then a mouth latter my boy friend of 5yrs and i was married, then i saw us having a home just 2 days ago we put the down payment on my home, then i thought of working for my self a mouth and a few weeks ago i started. so what your saying is not crazzy or a figure of your mind playing tricks with u just beleave and live worthy to jesus. i pray that you walk with jesus and beleave in his name amem
