I tried to start this thread a few times...
So please pray for God's wisdom as you pray.
I not sure how to word this?

I will be going to my Mother-in-laws this weekend.
It is a 5hr trip there and sometimes longer to get back.
We have to take a ferry to get there, the lines are crazy.
I'm leaving my 21yr old and 16yr old sons at home.
(Their older sister 24yrs is coming to stay with them.)

Last night I woke up several times with a strange feeling and a need to pray for the trip.
I don't know why I feel so funny about it.
Is it the traveling? leaving? Having to spend time with my mother-in-law for three days?
Or is it just the combination of it all together?
My mother-in-law is a great lady...she is just so sharp (rude) worded with me.
(My kids think she is jealous of the closeness I share with her son, their father .)

God has moved me to pray for things I don't understand...untill everything falls into place,
and then I think... thank God I prayed when he put it on my heart.

Pray as God leads you :)
Thank you! Shekaniah

Sometimes God just places something in our spirits about some event or person in our life. We often never know the exact reason why. I've come to understand that in my life, when God does this, He is nudging me into a real prayer mode about the situation. God knows what we will face and He knows what the enemy is up to in our life. This just may be a call to prayer, to get built up in Him before this trip.

God bless this trip and you are in my prayers!

It could be nothing, just you. How can it hurt to pray for protection?

One day, many years ago, my parents were driving me to their home. I had a funny feeling we could all die during the trip. I prayed, and felt like God was in control now. Halfway there, we heard an odd noise. Because I was trusting God, I was able to say nothing, other than I thought it would not hurt to look. So we stopped. The lug nuts had come undone, and the wheel was about to fall off, and we were about to drive over a hill with a long drop to the side.

Like I say, prayer can only help.

I pray God keeps leading you when things fall into place, as He has done so far. I know I can trust Him when we do.

Dear Shekaniah, It is wonderful, first of all, that you have received a message from God to pray! God often speaks to us in dreams! It could be that He is warning you to take extra precaution during your trip. One never knows what one can find along the way and God is obviously warning you to take good extra care of yourself. I will be praying for your safety and well-being. Please let us know how all went when you get back.
"In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then He openeth the ears of men: and sealeth their instruction," -- JOB 33:15-16 (KJV)

Have a SAFE trip and May God bless you always!

Dear Shekaniah,
When I am in situations like these, I use to recite Psalm 91:
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.

I used to have a mother in law also;
And I always as per the pastor's advise, refer to the bible chapter:'' John 2: 5 But his mother told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
6Standing nearby were six stone water jars, used for Jewish ceremonial washing. Each could hold twenty to thirty gallons. 7Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” When the jars had been filled, 8he said, “Now dip some out, and take it to the master of ceremonies.” So the servants followed his instructions.'
We are filled up to the rim with the love of God, dip some out and let others feel it too...the love of God changes ppl and atmosphere around us :)

I pray father that your word, your love reaches Shekanaih now, and the peace that Jesus left for us should overcome Shekanaiah's unrest, be still know that he is God...I confess the blood of the sacrificed lamb on her and her family....in the name of Jesus
Amen

Abba...just hold it all in your loving hands.
Thank You that we know to come to You.
I ask right now that you protect, and guide, and place peace in this place
Shekaniah goes to, and peace in her home to reside with her children.
I ask that You give grace to those who are Yours,
and those who may not be.
You are God! Powerful and faithful!
I ask that You do these things because of Your love for our dear sister,
and to Your own glory and praise.
Because of Jesus, amen. ♥
We declare our love for You, Lord God! You really are awesome. :)

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Well loved ones...I made it here in one piece!

I think I know why my spirit was a little worried.
The family up here is having a meeting today.
It will concern the future for all of us.
Last time some of the members got hurt and angry.
So if you read this before 2pm pacific time.
Please pray for the meeting.
If you read it later...please pray that all hearts and issues gain wisdom and understanding :)

I'm so luky to have you all!
But most of all to have Jesus! My rock! My life! My love!

God bless your week end :)

Thank you all for your prayers :)
I think the meeting went well.
Although in the beginning there was a little discord.
I feel it ended with everyone in agreement.
