You r not alone. We are to bear one another's burdens then cast them on Jesus for He cares for us. His shoulders r bigger than ours, and that's as it should be. All by His design. We r to take up our cross that we may crumble underneath it thereby realizing our total dependence upon Him. And we are to pray for each other. I'll pray.
Lord, Send Tim a helper to support him while he is struggling. Help him to know your will for his life, and keep him on the path you have set for him. Give him the desire to stay true to that path, and forgive him for the times he has strayed from you.

I just wanted you to feel welcome to personally write me if you need
some one to talk with and share the burdens of your heart!
I would be blessed and honored to be your friend and share our
struggles and pray together!
I can sense your going through one of those dark valleys,
where you don't think there's and hope of getting out!
But God can and will get you out!
You know that the natural many times types the spiritual,
and like a badly enough wounded soldier, who cant get up
off of the ground because he's to hurt! And it take another soldier
to carry him out of the battle so he can have time to heal!
Brother, if your that wounded soldier that cant get up,
I'm here for you to lift you up and encourage you, as we
watch Gods healing Power Transform your life with
a new Inspiration and Victory!

Your personal struggle that you "don't know how to get rid of," Jesus got rid of on the Cross. Brother Tim, our flesh will bring us breaking down to the ground again and again (as our Brother Yet stated above) until we come to the realization that there is nothing in our carnal man that desires to follow after God.
That is why Jesus Christ paid the price on Calvary for us -- and personally for you, Tim. There is nothing too hard for the Lord and we must surrender everything to him. Your pride and your self-sufficiency and your desires and all your mind and thoughts - abandon them all wholly to Christ our Savior, in repentance and ask Him to give you His wisdom, His desires, His purpose.
And I agree with sister Butterfly's wise instruction above that you pray to the Lord in your alone time. Seclude yourself in the Presence of God, go boldly to His Throne of Grace and talk to our Loving Father... and listen for the Holy Spirit's Voice in your spirit. Only the Lord has the answers for you and the direction for your life.
The beautiful prayers offered for you above are so precious and priceless and I stand in agreement with them all in Jesus' Holy Name. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and turn only to Him with your life. Grace and peace to you, dear brother!
