It is amazing that you are seeking his will for you even when you are in pain.
All I can say is that your healing is just around the corner.
Thanks Ellie, for being an example of faith.

It's a small thing, but as you are led by the Spirit of God, would you pray for me?

Physical pain is a known companion, but lately it's been getting much worse.
And I can't sleep because of it, and the less I sleep, the worse the pain becomes. :)
As this seemed to reach its apex (God willing) my beloved doc went out of the country to minister to those withour access to medical treatment for 3 weeks. (and may the Lord bless Him for and in it!)

I know some of you live like this, too, and understand it.
And I know all of you are compassionate. ♥
I just want the Lord's will in this. If He wishes it to continue for a time, I love that.
If He wishes it to be taken, I love that, too.

So I think I'm asking that you'll pray with me that He will be glorified in it, in whatever way He chooses.
And if you would, please also pray for Bill (my doc) and his wife Claudia, who are loving others with the love of the Lord far away at this time.

Gratefully,
ellie
Ellie, although I can't ease your physical pain, perhaps it will help to know that part of your prayer has already been answered..........the part in bold was something I needed to hear, I'm actually crying right now.

The Lord is good, and His ways are perfect, even when we don't understand.

May God bless you and bring you His peace and comfort, as you wait so patiently for His healing. You are a huge blessing on this forum, and I've missed you so much! ♥ Love and prayers...... -Nichole

Nah, that's not me. I (in the flesh) as as selfish as a human can get.
Thank God! that person has been crucified with Christ!
I think we especially seek His will when we are in pain, don't you?
Even if we may not realize it. Our spirit longs with His for His perfect will, knowing only that will be good. :)

Thanks so much for your prayers and your observation. ♥
I had my eyes opened to a truth this morning through it!

Aww my sweet friend I am so sorry that you are hurting. I lift you up in prayer to our Lord asking that he bring you relief from your pain and complete healing in Jesus name if it be His will. I know that he will be with you through it all. When I have pain honestly I beg and beg and beg and don't stop until he answers. Its kinda like having our child hanging on our leg persistently pulling on our leg while begging for that toy and you look down and see that hope on that little face and your heart fills up with love and you give them what the want because of that love. Thats kinda been my experience with pain and God *grinz* I know know know know know with every fiber of my being that he can heal you Miss Ellie. Believe & Beg!!! ((hugs ya))

Father God of mercy and grace,
I ask that you be with your servant psychomom and bring comfort and strength to help her through the pain as she waits for your healing touch. In Yeshua’s holy name I pray amen.
Psychomom, When I think of you and your kind words to so many, I think of this story your pain may not be the same put God uses everything.

From the book "Abba's Child: The Cry of the Heart for Intimate Belonging".

Tells of a physician who comes periodically to the pool of Bethesda, hoping to be the first in the water and healed of his melancholy when the angel appears and troubles the water. Everybody at the pool also hopes to be the first in the water and thereby healed of his malady. The angel appears but blocks the physician at the moment he is ready to step into the pool and be healed.
Angel: "Draw back, physician, this moment is not for you."
Physician: "Angelic visitor, I pray thee, listen to my prayer.
Angel: "Healing is not for you."
Physician: "Surely, surely, the angels are wise. Surely, O Prince, you are not deceived by my apparent wholeness. Your eyes can see the nets in which my wings are caught; the sin into which all my endeavors sink half-performed cannot be concealed from you."
Angel: "I know."
..................
Physician: "Oh, in such an hour was I born, and doubly fearful to me is the flaw in my heart. Must I drag my shame, Prince and Singer, all my days more bowed than my neighbor?"
Angel: "Without your wound where would your power be? It is your very remorse that makes your low voice tremble into the hearts of men. The very angels themselves cannot persuade the wretched and blundering children on earth as can one human being broken on the wheels of living. In Love’s service only the wounded soldiers can serve. Draw back."
Later, the person who enters the pool first and was healed rejoices in his good fortune then turns to the physician before leaving and said:
"But come with me first, an hour only, to my home. My son is lost in dark thoughts. I -- I do not understand him, and only you have ever lifted his mood. Only an hour . . . my daughter, since her child has died, sits in the shadow. She will not listen to us but she will listen to you."

Thank you, Miss Ellie! I hope I didn't alarm anyone with my previous post. Your selfless desire that The Lord bring glory to His name through your trial touched my heart, and, in a way, your prayer became its own answer........does that make any sense? :D

We could all take a lesson from that.....seeking the Lord's glory in our trials, rather than focusing on ourselves by becoming bitter over them. Thanks for setting a living example! ♥ Love, hugs, and more prayers, -Nichole :)

Shilo--I really, really like Brennan Manning's books! It started with "Ragamuffin Gospel" almost 20 years ago, and "Abba's Child" is another of my favorites!
How did you know? ;) Thank you so. I need to drag out my tired old dog eared copies once again. ♥

Bekah, what a lovely story, so true, as all parents know. Even if God asks us to wait, we know His power is there to enable us to do that, too. ♥

Jeffrey, I think you have a gift for prayer and encouragement. :) Thank you, too.

Yesterday I felt as though there wasn't enough skin and muscle on the bones to move my neck and head, but today is better. And our daughter is here from Long Island, the sun is shining, and Mark's taking the day off!! :D
Is God good, or what. :)

love to you all,
ellie
