Please, if you're reading this, help me!

Hey, brothers and sisters, I need your help in advices and in pray...
The story is... I had a friend when I was in my 15's, (( I knew about Jesus, about God, but it was a time in my life, that I was like, why do people have to know that I'm christian? )) I had a friend there, and he died in car accident, he was a good friend of mine and a classmate, I was really sad because I didn't speak to him about Jesus... Just about it, a few months after, when I truly "converted" myself and started to say and admit to people, "I'm christian" etc... I once said to God, that I was sorry about it, etc... infront of my whole church that I've failed to probably save a life...
Well, that was 5 years a go, yesterday it made 5 years that my friend had the car-accident, and yesterday night, I had the most WEIRDEST / DARK dream ever, about him, the coffin, he totally rotten, funeral, his mom crying, etc..... really bad dream.. and I woke up like 3 am, scared but, nothing much, after a few hours, I felt asleep again and I had the exactly same dream!! same images..
Okay, now I can't sleep, and everytime I think about it, my heart almost jumps of anxiety.. I feel like "remorse" after 5 years, how is that possible? I'm feeling like those soldiers from the army, I just lay myself on the bed, and the images come and I can't sleep..
I've already pray, I already said "GOD I CONFESS THAT I'VE FAILED.." and I tell to you too brothers and sisters, I've failed to save a life, :'((
I do confess and I ask your forgiveness aswell.. And please give me some replies, I'm feeling so bad... And most important, pray for me!!
I don't want this anxiety.

Hey, Ruben, sorry to hear about your troubles. I'm glad that you're taking your failure seriously, but please don't let self-condemnation take away your peace. Jesus still loves you, and the bible says that He advocates for us when we mess up (and, believe me, we've ALL messed up, at one point, or another). Talk to Jesus about it (He already knows, anyway ), and cast all your care upon Him, because He careth for you....... I doubt that there's anyone alive who hasn'tat some point in their life failed to tell someone about Jesus, when they knew that they should have. That's not an excuse, of course, we're all a bunch of knuckle-heads, but please don't think that you're worse than anyone else because of it. Just use it as a learning experience for the future, so that the next time you feel prompted to tell someone about Jesus, you're obedient. God bless, Brother -Nichole

Fear has torment but perfect love casteth out fear (1 John 4: 18) and God is love (1 John 4:16) and you have God. Do let fear and self condemnation bring you down, if you have asked God to forgive you then He has and you must live like that. God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of love, and of power and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7) So whenever you are disturbed by the past refuse it in Jesus name! Live the life God has given you, open up your life to His will and let Him direct your path. He has a plan for your life and He never wants you to live in fear of anything. Draw close to Him. The devil is the father of lies and deception. God wants to do something great in your life and the devil wants you to focus
on something else. Don't fall for one of the devil's oldest tricks...guilt for something that you cannot change.
The past is past, be the best man you can be today!!!
Jesus loves you! He needs you to focus on Him and His plans for your life.

Listen, you don't know what happened to your friend. If he was 15 then he might have gone to heaven anyway because all kids go to heaven because they're still innocent and don't know any better most of the time. Also you weren't at the stage in your walk where you were ready to be the messenger to that person. So how could it be your fault. All situations have a lesson to teach us, and you did the best you could at the time based on what you knew, which at the time was that all you knew was you were trying to get to know God for yourself, not for others yet. You've given it to God in prayer anyway, it's under the blood. It's forgiven if there was even anything to be forgiven. So don't feel guilty. Hindsight is always 20 20. That means looking back on life it's easy to know what you should have, could have and would have done. If I could go back and change things I'd be a millionaire 100 times over, I'd have saved the planet, I'd be the smartest most liked person on earth, if I could go back. But you can't. Forget the future, forget the past. All you have is right now. All you have is today to work with so do the best you can today. That's all anyone can ask. Then at the end of the day you can look back and say "yes I did this one right thing today". Thats' what I'm learning right now. Dear lord help him to not feel guilty. And help him not to overly worry about his dream. Help him to just learn from the situation and move on. Amen.
