I hit a deer on the way to work tonight on my county road... The deer was fine and got up and ran away... My car luckily sustained minimal damage.

The passenger side headlight is completely smashed in and the plastic surrounding it is shattered... The hood was only dented slightly right above the light... The light still works though.

Please pray that I can get it fixed quickly. And that my parents don't scream at me too much. Also, that my insurance premium doesn't go up too much... I can't affordit right now!

Hi Alayna, what a blessing you and the deer are ok. Ins. ussually gives forgiveness in this kind of accident.
All is in my prayers, especially your parents not yelling. smiles
Hugs and God bless, pickles

The parents didn't yell, just looked kind of disgusted at it... Estimated cost of the repairs from the Dealership come to a little over $3,300... I will only have to pay $500 of that for my deductible and then insurance will take care of the rest. Thank goodness!

Thankyou for update. Im glad your parents did not yell. We parents often are more upset about the close call are children had than the frustration of repairs. Hitting a deer ussually has a bad outcome for both the driver and the deer. Jesus was trully looking out for you.
When my son was in a bad accident about two years ago, it took everything to keep form yelling at him. All my emotions were wrapped up in I could have lost my son. So if your parents get a bit gruff with you during this, just understand that the translation in parent means : this scared us we dont want you hurt:
Still praying all goes well.
God bless, pickles
