Pray for the girl who is battling for life

Hi prayer warriors in Christ,

Please pray for a 23 year old girl (a medical intern) who is at this very moment battling for her life in ICU after she was brutally gangraped; physically assaulted and violated (using iron rod) by six men in a moving chartered bus a couple of days back (sunday night). According to report, the few short times she regain consciousness, she hasn't stopped crying and is suffering from septicaemia (a systemic infection). Doctors have performed surgery (fifth time) as her inner organs (including her intestine) were badly affected but she is still said to be in critical stage. Please pray that our God would heal and comfort her (and her family) in this time of great sorrow and grief.

The cruelty and brutality of the said case completely breaks my heart apart and I can't help weeping for the victim as I follow the news. There have been a lot of other rape cases reported in the city however, this one takes the height of brutality. I just can't believe how some men could be so cruel and evil so as to act in an animal like manner :'(

These new dheli rape cases are just too much.i believe rape in india is connected to the way women are oppressed by their cullture in my country there are a few rape cases but anyone that does it and gets found out,should consider themselves the luckiest man alive if the police gets to them first,(theres alot of mob mentality) seriously though,rapists get castrated so fast,you'd think ther manhood is a time bomb that has to be removed and thrown away before it goes kaboom.i guess thats just how it is,as a Christian you can understand my stand on this,sometimes you think its just fair.will pray for her though...

Btw,our culture has dramatically changed over the past decade,women were looked down upon (sadly) but that changed from red to blue.indian families are marrying off their daughters against their own will( in this 21st century) c'mon?? Also muslim is not any better,forcing women to coverup there heads with vails,and wear those black clothes in the desert heat(tragic)did you know that in some muslim countries,women go to the beach in those clothes, and even swim in them??!!just google it and you will be heartbroken.even africans are not excluded-all this is just so sad,

Update: I read in todays paper that her entire intestine has been removed because of the infection and IF (?) she lives, she would have to be fed intravenously for life. Her condition has improved a little bit however, it was reported that there is high probability of the gangrenous infection spreading to her lungs in the next 24 hr. So, whatever happens, may our God continue to comfort her and her family.

All I can do is cry as I lift her up to Yeshua and our father of mercy.

Father give wisdom to those who are caring for her.
Comfort all those who know and love her.
Bring justice... and protect the inocent people of India.
